Idea is nice, though primary colors are red, green and blue. Since the game was spawned upon a scientific base we should be more correct in these things. (OK-OK, I know, it is a fantasy game, but I guess everyone sees the scientific connotations/relations of the cards.)

From an artist or printer's point of view, the primary colours are red blue and yellow (paints/inks of these colours mix to give orange, purple and green).
In terms of electronic screens, the pixels are made up of red green and blue components (the light from which mix to give magenta, yellow and cyan) so it's understandable to call them primary colours but not necessarily correct, as the concept would have originally referred to paint/ink (light filters if you like) rather than screens (light emitters)

You are talking about substractive RYB color mixing. Yep, that works for paints, and it is well known for historical reasons. Printers are using CMYK substractive method. The intro mentioned rainbows. Rainbows are (mainly) produced by light refraction. So we are talking about mixing light colors - that's why I mentioned that RGB is the correct method for that. With RGB secondary colors would be magenta (entropy), cyan (aether or air, your choice) and yellow (time), tertiaries would be pretty much the same (though darkness is a bit of a stretch). EDIT: The name "primary colors" are used for the base colors of any kind of color mixing - RGB, CMYK, RYB.

Btw, I'm not booing the idea of the tourney. I just stated my scientific opinion.  ;) I love that many denial cards are banned.

I have to edit my post again... it seems that the tourney doesn't goes for pure trios - which would be easier to make in such a short time span. So, each deck must have at least 3x6 fixed cards (chosen from prim/sec/tert colors), and as I see now, it can also choose 17 totally random card from any NOT LISTED colors? Or 3x6 fixed cards + 17 cards from any colors listed here? I think the base idea is pretty good why diluting it?

Btw, are quantum pillars permitted?

Original post: A more on-topic idea: 36 would be a more reasonable maximum, since we must use equal amounts of colors. Or 33, the point is that the max number should be divisible by 3.

I totally expected your post. :) Even the color order is correct! :D Other funny flag facts:

- Budapest's former official flag (1873-1930; 1990-2011);
- Chad's flag;
- Andorra's flag;
- Moldova's flag;
- Columbia's flag;
- Venezuela's flag.

Flag "designers" really love R, Y and B. :) I'm from Budapest btw. Any users from the listed countries? :)

As far as I can tell you can use any starting mark.
Pillars and pendulums count toward the total.

Took a while to discuss this, here are the rulechanges/clarifications:
- removed the rule to have an precisely equal number of cards for each of the chosen elements (you still need at least 6 of each) Edit: It's back.
- pillars/pends marks do count for their element (quantum pillars are permitted, but dont count for any element)
- Other than the 3 elements you have chosen, you may use aether, air and entropy, but still have to use at least 6 cards of  each element you do use Edit: nvm, banning them is more intuitive among other things
- fog, wings, dims added to banlist
