TOURNAMENTS Q&A

Q: Does the mark of the deck count as using another element ?
A: No, the mark does not count, you need to have cards from 3 different elements, and you can use whatever mark you wish.

Q: Does rainbow count as an element?
A: If you use :rainbow to refer to the "Other" cards (such as Quantum Pillars), they are technically not an element, so they do not count as one for the purpose of this tournament.

Q: What is the minimum number of cards needed to be considered using 3 elements? (3 of a single card from the element from the list)?
A: 3 copies of a single card type is sufficient to be considered using that element.

Q: Can I use PPMs as the 3rd element?
A: No. Using only PPMs of an element does not count as using that element.

Here is a legal example deck:

I agree, and if you saw the original Total Recall, you know what I mean. :sillyspin:

Yes, you can use PPMs as the 3rd element.
No. Using only PPMs of an element does not count as using that element in this tournament. Everything else that Zso_Zso said is correct.

The following example deck is legal:

Legal deck
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 50u 50u 50u 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 5aa 5aa 5c0 5c0 5c0 5c2 5c2 5c2 5le 5le 5le 5lf 5lf 5lf 5rs 5rs 5rs 8pl

It only uses 3 elements if we don't count PPMs, all non-PPM cards have exactly 3 copies and deck size is divisible by 3.
And we keep driving into the night
It's a late goodbye, such a late goodbye...
