Weekly Tournament - July 16th - My Balls are Bigger - UnupgradedTournament Organizers: Ginyu, mathman101, or Solaris

Where? Please enter the Tournament room at least 15 minutes before the tournament starts. Click "Rooms" in the top left to find it.

Rules Please read the PvP Tournament rules carefully before joining the tournament. Remember to also read the Special Rules listed below!

Prizes 1st place 5,000 electrum + Nymph/Mark + Trophy (Forum Icon) 2nd place 5,000 electrum 3rd place 4,000 electrum 4th place 3,000 electrum In case of 18 or more players, tournament prizes will be increased.

Points for the World Championship 1st place 4 points 2nd place 2 points 3rd place 1 point

NOTE: You need just one presentable forum post to be allowed to join tournaments; you can post it here. If this will be your first tournament, a Tournament Organizer will test your knowledge about the rules. So please be present in tournament room 30 minutes before the tournament starts.




Special Rules

• Always read the second post! It contains equally important information most of the time.
• Upgraded cards and Shards are banned.
• The only creature allowed is Spark.
• Maximum Deck Size is 35 cards.
• Fractal, Dimensional Shield, Reverse Time, Eternity, Antimatter, Black Hole, Nymph's Tears, Arsenic, Owl's Eye, Unstable Gas, Flying Weapon, Poison, Sanctuary, Miracle, Sundial and all creature control spells are banned (list is provided below).

The first time in a long, long time I built some decks before the tourney.
Today, I must find out that poison, miracle and dials were also banned and all my decks need at least a modification. All of them are illegal now.

These bans mean that all participants will probably use all the same 2-3 decks. IMO it was fine before the new bans and I was really looking forward to this tourney. Now it lost its attractiveness - at least for me.
Let's be honest, shut down the opportunities in a very restricted tourney has RNG-heavy consequences. I will probably take part but I liked the rules as they were yesterday.
Instead of the bans you could say "X number of Sparks have to be used in the deck".
