Special Rules

• Upgraded cards and shards are not allowed.
• Each deck has to have EXACTLY 8 pawns, 2 rooks, 2 knights, 2 bishops, 1 queen, 1 king from the list below. Any unlisted card is unrestricted.
• Your deck must be able to produce quanta of all elements your nonzerocostcards belong to in the deck
• Maximum deck size is 30 cards.

Q: Why is this tournament on a monday?
A: It's 24 GMT on sunday. i can host then, also I think the rules are complicated enough to deserve some time for preparation. Sorry about posting 1 day late

Do skills count as elements used, e.g. do you need Light quanta to include Rustlers?

Changed wording slightly (you now may include zerocost cards of any element without nonsensically having to produce quanta for that element).
The intent is mostly to prevent people from putting in cards just for the sake of fulfilling the 8 pawns requirement. Amongst pawns there is only rustler, parasite and chrysaora that abilitycost would matter in, only for para there would be a reason to not just put a photon instead if you dont use the ability anyway (or if you are already using 6 photons I guess). Therefore I see no need to restrict that. The wording atm also strongly implies that only the element the card is actually part of matters.

Soul Catcher counts. Dry Spell does not, as it needs Water to be played in the first place.

I thought Id organize cards a bit differently in the following 'mono' lists. These mono lists contain all the cards you have to include in order to make a legal 'mono' with 2 photons (in case of light 2 sparks) added. In case you are not going for a rainbow this might be easier to see from what cards you could use together. The rest of the deck ofc needs to be filled up with cards that aren't in any of these lists. In case you are going for a duo or more elements you need to pay attention that you get the right card counts out of each category of course.
The op still contains all the information you need, this is just meant to help.
