- Upgraded cards are allowed, but not required.
- Decks are allowed 5 upgrades per default, depending on cards you run you may use more or less upgrades according to the following tables:
- These boni/mali apply for each card copy you include
- If your deck would have to have negative upgrades it is illegal
- Additionally you may upgrade the following cards for free:These cards do not count against your allowed upgrades total.
Running these cards unupgraded won't give you an additional upgrade and won't allow you to run a deck with otherwise negative upgrades

TOURNAMENTS Q&A
Q: What inspired this tournament?
A: A combination of the free upgrades from "There can be only one" and ian's idea to penalize op cards by allowing less upgrades with them in war.
Q: Why is shard of freedom not penalized as much as some other cards?
A: For Sofree you normally have little reason to run less than 6, while for those cards you just need a single copy of to get the full effect
Q: What about cards not listed in any table?
A: They are of course allowed, there are no bans. They dont affect your max allowed upgrades either way.
Q: Is there a tool to check whether our deck is legal?
A: I made a googlesheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1V20vOigXrR8a9ZYSa2UYWVj6hLZC4Yr_Hm9CgRC_QvE/) with which you can check whether your deck is legal or not. I entered values for each card manually, so pay attention whether I made a mistake somewhere.
Remember that you cant edit the original (otherwise your deck codes could leak), in order to use you have to login to a gmailaccount, click file-> make a copy to open a copy in a new tab that you can edit. In this copy simply put your full deck code in A1 and let it do the calculations.

I did not allow you to edit the sheet so no deck codes are being posted in there for everyone to see, to use it simply make a copy and paste your deckcode in "Upgrades Calculator" cell A1.
It only accounts for free upgrades if you actually use them, so if you are at max upgrades but have unupgraded free upgrades you can do so and it should show that the deck is still legal.
I entered values manually, if a number of upgrades seems inaccurate pls report it to me.
It omits the last card code in the deck (which would normally be the code of your deck mark), so be sure to include the full deck code.

This was a really fun ruleset, had several epic games. Never felt like the meta was figured out at all, people played a bunch of different decks. Awesome job TOs.
27 upgrade immorush is scary, played this 3 times, I think.
This felt kinda meh. Had a pretty epic game against Vindilos' 60-card stall with this. It involved mindgates and 75-charge bonewalls.
Only used this once in the first round.
Ash eaters op. I built this after dropping to the lower bracket and it felt really strong, won all the games I played with this. Beat CactusKing with it twice in the finals.
6 upgrade Catatitans, used it against CactusKing after losing to his Mito-RoL/Hope, once against Vindilos, and then again in the finals. Beat catatitans and SoR eggs, lost to immorush.

I didnt go stall, thought it to risky.
1-2 no dims vs rush cost it 1 game (he had deflag too, but that just means i need to start chain 1 turn earlier. dani was also just 1 deflag from lethal until I had the quanta for dims and against stall it was hopeless.
0-1 beaten by a single t1 lavagolem (and deflag on bond)
a pretty fancy deck with lots of options, but just too slow to be any good.
