Congratulations for the winners!

1st: Submachine
2nd: Timdood3
3rd: Wyand
4th: jdcksimple2005

Time to post decks. Or rather, deck, because I only built and used one.

Trident Rush w/ 2 Bolts

Deck import code : [Select]
5ie 5ie 5ie 5ie 5ie 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gm 7gm 7gm 7gm 7gm 7gm 7go 7go 7gs 7gs 7gs 7i6 7i6 7i6 7i6 7i6 8pm

The name of the game was Ice Lances. Out of all the Ice Lances and Ice Bolts, only 3 didn't freeze instantly. Only one of those Lances were mine in the final game with Tim.

I am not sure if anyone else brought the lances to shut down opposing Tridents, but it worked out for me. :) There was no other PC, so I had to make them count.

I also thought of a PUgon deck with Lightnings and Lobo, but quickly dismissed any ideas that Poseidons counter.
And we keep driving into the night

I'm relatively happy with second place, though nowhere near recoups what I spent for upgrades in this tourney :c

Spoiler for Decks used:
I used slight variations of these two decks for the first 5 games:
Spoiler for Hidden:
Mono-Darkness

Deck import code : [Select]
7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t6 7t6 7t6 7t6 7t6 7t6 7t8 7td 7td 7td 7td 7td 7td 7um 7um 7um 80a 80a 80a 80a 80a 80a 80e 80e 8pu

Then I decided I'd break down and upgrade a bunch of quanta pillars to play the diss field stall, hastily put together, but it did the job.

Dissipation Field

And the only deck I used in the finals (with slight modifications) was:
Spoiler for *Drum roll*:
Mono water

Hell, to be honest I totally overlooked this deck.  Luckily, so did my opponents up to this point.  Got off to a fast start in game 1, didn't even need Poseidon.  Game 2 Sub did the same to me.  Game three I could've had a chance if my bolt had frozen him.  But it's my fault for not upgrading them to get another chance at it, so I'm not too fussed over it.

But two of them were mine!

Overall, they were all good games and I had a great time.

Another mixed-feel tourney, with one overpowered card hard to counter.

2-1 against Moehrpi

0-1 Voodoo/Bloodsuckers vs. WW/Drag Rush

Spoiler for Hidden:
My deck was just too slow for his one. Failed to draw a Dusk. (Should switch 1-2 Liquids to Dusks in hindsight.)

1-1 Dis Shield stall vs. Water Rush

Spoiler for Hidden:
No PC, so I thought Dis Shield will be good. And it shone. He mentioned that his crawlers crawled to the bottom of his deck,
but I don't think that would have changed too much, since I had enough CC in hand. I suspected he tries to cut down my hp
with maxed out Ice Lances but I forced him to use 2 of them on my Amethyst Dragon and its TU'd friend.

2-1 Water Rush vs. Pharaoh

Spoiler for Hidden:
Prepared this deck just for this game. Steam Machines are good against CC plus they can hit hard after a while against a Dis Shield stall,
Crawlers are just pure dmg, while Puffer Fish can add some annoying poison dmg.

He had some horribly bad luck. Hand full of pillars and pends! After that he drew a Silurian which kinda made me worry,
but he just drew pillars and pillars... until a Pharaoh, but that was very late. (Ultimately I think on average
my deck had more chance to win, without SoR Pharaohs are slow, and my critters were just too big to swallow quickly.)

1-2 against Submachine

1-0 Mirror Match

Spoiler for Hidden:
I correctly anticipated that he'll just play Tridents. While he was able to freeze my Trident with a simple (under 10 quanta) Ice Lance,
I won with a narrow margin (4hps, I think). Obviously was an rng battle.

1-1 Dis Shield stall vs. Trident

Spoiler for Hidden:
The game started, and I saw the earth mark. I'm doomed. He is playing that damned Trident again! Game over.

1-2 Trident Ice Lances vs. Trident

Spoiler for Hidden:
I switched to a Trident variation - in case of he seems Trident-addicted. And it happened. Almost mirror match again.
My draw was better, I gained a small lead (enough to win), then we dc'd. I easily dispatched the AI, and hoped that the
AI will lead my deck to win, but... he has frozen my weapon again with a 30% chance Ice Lance. Aggravating, but rematch.

The rematch was catastrophic. My Trident got frozen again. Imagine that: through our entire match he has frozen my weapon
the 5th time with minimal chances (30%). Let's do the math: 0,3*0,3*0,3*0,3*0,3=0,00243. Which means, he had 0,243% chance to do that.
Funky. And he had only 2 Ice Lances in the entire deck! It doesn't really mattered that I was able to mimic his luck to a lesser extent
(freezing 3 crawlers in the same round with Lances), because that caused only some delay. Iirc I started only with 1 pillar + 1 pend,
that made things even worse.

2-0 against jdcksimple2005

1-0 Trident Ice Lances vs. Stallish Dark/Aether

Spoiler for Hidden:
I don't know what was the exact purpose of the deck since I just destroyed all PPMs, so he had a hard time playing anything.

2-0 Trident Ice Lances vs. Dis Field stall

Spoiler for Hidden:
Trident OPness again. It made him quit early, which I truly understand.
