Title: What Element for This?
Post by: EmeraldTiger on January 03, 2012, 11:03:29 pm
Anyone with a mechanic, but not sure what element(s) to attach it to post it here.

I will start.
Mechanic:
Target creature is flipped face down for 1 turn, It returns as if just played. It may go to opponent's side instead.

The first part fits time IMO, the second part looks like entropy (randomness) and darkness (mind control, you steal a creature) .. it looks like a fun card anyway.

Darkness/Aether: brainwashing or something like that.

I think it fits entropy best. I can imagine the art being some kind of mechanism, like a reverse time in purple.
But what would be the use of this card? Like a low cost brainwash card that is used on the opponents creatures?
I'd make it a permanent and let it either have an ability or make it do that effect on a random creature each turn. The permanent would only last a few turns before it breaks and it would have to consume some kind of element.
