As for the bracketed triple elim, there probably isn't any reason not to use it, although I've always like the idea of a HP system.

The main difference is that in triple elimination you'd be facing people with the same HP as you (except for the ending).
Ah, okay. I don't really see the necessity for that, then. The game is not based off of ELO or anything, just the last one standing. Seems like triple elim would just cause a headache

Alright, so I've done a pretty big overhaul on a couple of things in this event. Changed amount of copies from sideboard allowed in a Bo5 from 10 to 6, and additionally included Shards into that 6, regardless of sideboard/in element status. BALANCE!

Also changed the upgrade allotment for the Elements. They are no longer based off of War placement, but instead what they gain from upgrades, and what their shard brings to the table. BALANCE!

Feedback? :)

I have removed the polls, as it seemed that the general consensus was to keep the current rare format + HP the same. Anything else someone wants put up for debate/needs clarified?

I dont get the sideboard rules; as I understand it you can only use 1 element and otherwise a total of 6 cardcopies from another element (or your shard) over 5 games, that you even have to have in your sideboard?! or are all the sideboard cards usable a total of 6 cardcopies EACH per match? Even then I feel like certain cards will just autowin several matchups because many elements will only be able to counter them like 2 times which is not enough for a bo5 even if you use that counter perfectly.

You choose 8 cards as your sideboard when signing up.
In each Bo5 match, you can use each sideboard card up to 6 times. (So you basically have all cards in your element an unlimited number of times and 8*6=48 cards you can spread across your 3 to 5 decks)

Also, keep in mind that after each round there will be a list of cards you can choose from to add to your sideboard, so as the event progresses, you can get additional tech cards if needed.
