Pokémon Nuzlocke

I'm starting now my first Nuzlocke, in Pokémon White.

Starter will be Grass type. Why? Because I hate Fire and I already did a normal run with Samurott's family.

I had tried Nuzlocke before. And I trolled myself by playing Set and limiting my healing items.
It's fun and all. Enjoy!

I enjoy Nuzlocke runs quite a bit.  My most recent one was done in Pokemon Emerald and consisted of the normal rule set with the addition of my own rule set which included:
1)  I must catch the first Pokemon I see when entering a new route.  This is the same as the original challenge except that I have to try and catch the Pokemon even if I don't want it.  If I fail to catch the Pokemon then I must reset.  This gets really annoying on the water routes in R/S/E.
2)  I cannot use any TMs, HMs are naturally okay.
3)  All wild Pokemon encounters must be fought through, i.e. no running allowed.
4)  Visits to the Pokemart and vending machines are prohibited unless something is required for a plot item or something.

I considered the Emerald run fairly difficult at least until I managed to catch an Adamant Shuppet which just flat out owned everything in sight once it evolved and learned Shadow Ball.  Zigzagoon/Linoone are godsends for people who either heal way too much or limit Pokemart/Pokemon Center visits.  Crobat's flinch haxx + Confuse Ray against Slaking is hilarious.  Wallace's team was easy for me (woo Magneton and Vileplume) at least until I reached his Ludicolo...which I managed to defeat thanks to a Liquid Ooze Tentacruel and an absurd number of Hyper Potions.  Sadly the save file became corrupted immediately after I defeated the Elite Four x)

Might do a Platinum Nuclocke run in the near future with a similar rule set.

I've done a SoulSilver run up until right before Lugia, then PC crashed and I lost the save file. That party was awesome though: Gyarados, Umbreon, Crobat, Tangrowth, Mamoswine and Typhlosion were a great mix. Mamoswine in particular has destroyed the 8th gym with a single 40 Base Power move (Ice Shard) and had an Earthquake that killed level 30 Tangelas by the time he evolved.

I also have done a Nuzlocke of Red on my cell phone, but it sucked. Venusaur, Snorlax and Vaporeon were more than enough to crush all opposition. Vaporeon DID die to a nasty crit by Lance's Gyarados, though.

I'm currently doing a White Nuzlocke since I'm bored, but I don't think I'll finish it, or even go much far.

Well...

>Only the first pokémon in a route (And Shinies. But I'll never even get to see one).
>No Items. Except PokéBalls. MTs/MNs are kind of fine. (I'm not using MTs anyway).
>Unlimited pokémon centres.
>Battle Style Set
>Box any fainted pokémon.

It's my first nuzlocke, so I'm going pretty easy.

I've never done a nuzlocke run. I have done a solo run though. Beat silver with a totodile only.
