Title: Antichamber
Post by: Absol on March 01, 2013, 02:20:31 am
Homepage (http://www.antichamber-game.com/) | Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antichamber) | TVTropes (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/VideoGame/Antichamber)

I read the description and it said first person puzzle with non-Euclidan geometry. Screams "interesting".
I played this, expecting a puzzle game like Portal. And you know what? This game is crazy awesome.

Anyone else plays this?

It's a great game, recommended for everyone. May get you out of your usual way of thinking.

tried it on a friends computer and got hooked within the first minutes.

sadly, i can't play it anymore because it's not for free (correct?).

however, the idea is awesome, the graphics suit this genre well imo and the
puzzle are quite challenging. i love it and am really looking forward to finish it one day :D

A great game that does a very good job of testing your ability to think in alternative means - unfortunately it's too short.
Also the tool you use receives several upgrades as you play through - which creates interesting change in flow - but most of the challeneges after you pick up an upgrade rely on the new tool without really testing your ability to incorporate the old and the new at the same time.
Fun - but it isn't that long and has absolute 0 replay value.
