Story :  Scientist  are conducting dream experiments resulting and the people in the tests  (the players) are the ones experiencing this world.

Name of game is still open to suggestions.

What we have so far.

Player Starting HP: 50
Player Starting Hand Size: 5

Method of Energy Generation: Called Emotions
Each Permanent Card (Creatures, Tools, Enchantments) Gives 1 level of their color, and the Emotions become available per permanent (unless cards say something different.) at the beginning of each turn.
Standard free cost Emotion generators are called Charms

Highest Standard Creature Stats 20|20

Types of Cards
Creatures
Actions
Reactions
Tools
Enchantments

types of skills:
Combat Actions: can be used only during combat
Combat Reactions: can be used only in response to a Combat Action
Utility Actions: can be used anytime
Utility Reactions: Can be used in response to any action
Ongoing Actions - Linger on the field for a set amount of turns. Can be destroyed and contribute to your level while they're on the field.

Board State : So what zones should we have?

Deck/Hand, ofc -> Mind / Subconscious Zone
Out of Combat Zone/Battlefield - Entire field is 'Conscious Zone', and divided into battle/non-battle.
Graveyard/Exile Zone - Trauma Zone / Exile Zone
Side Deck - Afterthoughts Zone
Resource Zone -> Awakening Zone

Dropping a little update.
A basic rule set has been laid out and we have a workable test environment.
There are 8 main colors and an ambiguous 9th that serves as a "Colorless"
The resource system is level based - kinda like MTG - but it's also waay different because EVERY CARD has an effect on it.
Because of this - balancing is a wee bit mysterious - we're trying something new and we really need testers.

I'm all for aid in testing and maybe a couple of card ideas but everything else I'm not so good at eventhough am learning c# as part of my degree and a bit of html
love makin my decks unusual if able. Chaos and luck are widely regarded as different i beg to differ just refer to :entropy but for those in the know also refer to :time and :death.
