Each Permanent Card (Creatures, Tools, Enchantments) Gives 1 level of their color, and the Emotions become available per permanent (unless cards say something different.) at the beginning of each turn.
Standard free cost Emotion generators are called Charms

types of skills:
Combat Actions: can be used only during combat
Combat Reactions: can be used only in response to a Combat Action
Utility Actions: can be used anytime
Utility Reactions: Can be used in response to any action
Ongoing Actions - Linger on the field for a set amount of turns. Can be destroyed and contribute to your level while they're on the field.
Board State : So what zones should we have?
Deck/Hand, ofc -> Mind / Subconscious Zone
Out of Combat Zone/Battlefield - Entire field is 'Conscious Zone', and divided into battle/non-battle.
Graveyard/Exile Zone - Trauma Zone / Exile Zone
Side Deck - Afterthoughts Zone
Resource Zone -> Awakening Zone
