I already had 4 players having problems with opera this week.

Basically, the flash player has to be bugged somehow, random errors might happen resulting in some garbage sent to the database, that will in turn cause a ban from Elements.

I can not possibly fix this problem since I have no control whatsoever over it.

Bottom line: avoid opera when playing Elements if possible.

Can you detect browser IE opera from flash? If so I recommend a warning when the game loads for those who don't regularly check the forum so there are no unnecessary bans?

I an Opera user through and through, I hate all other browsers but I guess I will have to use something else.

Another strange thing that happens in Opera (although I don't know if it might happen in other browsers) is that sometimes when you draw a card it won't show in your held card area although it will count towards the eight card limit. It also tends to be just the card you needed!

i suggest Firefox since it's pretty graphically and it's not fattening google with chrome and it's linux friendly!

I just can't stop myself from butting in here, but Seamonkey. (http://www.seamonkey-project.org/) It's fast, it's made by Mozilla, and it's open source, so if something in Elements doesn't work browser-wise, get a programmer buddy to do something with it.

For the record, though: I can't act as a programmer buddy. I am a buddy and can try to help, but I don't trust my abilities near something like a full internet suite. (!)

Thanks for telling us, though, Zanz. I will avoid Opera as I always have, like the plague.

Because they have the best all-purpose Internet app in the history of the world.  I've never stopped using Opera with Elements, and I've never had a problem.  Opera is seriously incredible, and I'd hate to ever use the Internet without it.
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.
