Today 130,000 inactive accounts have been deleted, filtered as follow:

If the last time you played element it was on version 1.14X or older and you won less than 10 games, your account is gone.

Why?
1 - We need room for new players
2 - A small database performs better
3 - We do not want a new player to spend 10 minutes finding an available user name
4 - I always hope for players to come back to elements, and I'll never delete accounts with a fair amount of games played (20), but if you played just a dozen games with your old account, might as well create a new one.

Zanz said around chrismas in chat, that there were about 480.000 accounts - so at least 350.000 left.

I remember my friend having NecroEmpireI, NecroEmpireII, NecroEmpireIII, NecroEmpireIV, etc...

I'm glad that my first account, "Blood_Shadow", isn't gone. I think I've made that account when the game was v0.XX or something. It had a few battles, more than 10, but it didn't get the 500 score quest yet.
