I just ran into this Fake God today, and was stunned to see that it was the 100 card build that I came up with before, lol. So I came here looking for a post about it. It's an amazing deck IF the AI plays it right. Possibly the fastest early damage per turn Fake God. Unfortunately, the AI is unable to realize that it must use Blessings all on the same creature, and then TU it before Deja Vuing it. It's quite possible to have over 50 DPT on the third turn.

Oh well...perhaps the Fake Gods will each get their own custom AIs someday, so that they play their decks correctly and effectively.

I do believe that the custom AIs is a project on Chriskang's calendar, if he ever returns.
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

Not really, I faced a 11-8 (1 Firestorm) Deja Vu once which he TUd 2 or 3 times - so sometimes Paradox knows how to use the cards.

Any AI would do that if it had the cards in hand. The real strategy is to drop a Deja Vu and a few RoLs on the firs turn, blessing a bunch on that single Deja Vu on the second turn, blessing some more on the third turn, TU, and then split. I done right, that's roughly 33-40 damage by turn 3, and over 50 by turn 4. That is the way that the deck was designed. However, with it being 100 cards (the original 60 card version was much better), it's a lot more likely to get bad draws. Regardless, the deck is still works sometimes, and an early lead could mean the end to even well built rainbow decks.

but usually that's not what happens :P usually he jsut blesses once, then deja vus... all of my TU experience were towards the end where it didn't even matter much.. he was already dead (11/16 otys for the win!)..

well, that's actually false, good strategy ensures that you always HAVE pillars :P

Seems to me this god is now the easiest.  a rain of fire with a bone wall and he is out of comission for the rest of the game.  in my experience (approx 6 games) he has never used his PU's effectively.  he also helps you by giving Aether towers you can steal and then use nymphs tears to make everyone imortal.

Except you don't need to make things immortal unless you want to stop its TUing, which you shouldn't worry about too much so long as you have a great big oty and an established bonewall.

Ugh, I read on this God being the easiest and decided to give it a go when the oracle told me he would be up. I got owned horribly fast due to an overflow of 5/5 Déjà Vus. He kept duplicating them and I didn't have enough quantum to use my phase shields =/

Maybe just a bad draw.
