Essence perhaps you should put up your cheap FG deck on this thread, as it only requires 2 upgrades...

Not a bad idea, TFO.  2 Rares, 2 Upgrades: An FG Farmer For The Masses! (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,5656.0.html)

Code: [Select]
55k 55k 55k 55k 55r 55r 55s 55s 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61q 61q 61q 61r 61r 61r 61r 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 621 621 7n2 7n2

This hasn't been updated in a while to reflect new cards, but obviously Pendulums would be useful here.  I'll see if I can work up an update. :)

In this weeks "doom to y'all" thread (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,3139.0.html), OneTwo said:

Quote from: OneTwo
After the changes [from version .04 to version 1.19], there doesn't seem to be any reliable method for getting gold to upgrade your cards beyond taking a Darkness or Time-Earth deck and mindlessly fighting the level 3's day after day after day.

Sure there is.  I have no idea why everyone thinks you have to skip from AI3 straight to False Gods, but it's simply not true.  If you want to become uber (i.e. farm FGs), you need three things:

1) You must complete the 500-point quest.
2) You must have put together this deck. (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,1615.0.html)
3) You must KNOW THE FALSE GODS like the back of your hand.  That means:
   A) Playing against them several dozen times each until you have an intuitive grasp of their core strategy.  Note that this involves losing nearly every game until you start to 'get it'.  Start the processing KNOWING that this MUST happen so you don't give up and Cartman your way back home.
   B) Going to the Elements Wiki (http://elementsthegame.wikia.com/wiki/Elements_the_Game_Wiki) and reading up on each of their complete decklists so you're never caught off guard.
   C) Reading up on The False Gods (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/board,15.0.html) and the Anti False-God Decks (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/board,87.0.html) here on the forum, to get an understanding of what their vulnerabilities are and how players have exploited them in the past.

So, how do you actually get there?

Well, if I had to reset my account today, I'd kill myself.  Then, I'd do this:

(0) Choose Aether.  But for those of you who have already chosen your element:)
1) Read this thread. (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,1190.0.html)
2) Follow it's advice.
3) Grind AI3 with the resultant deck until I could build This deck. (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,3154.0.html)
4) Grind Halfbloods until I beat the 500-point quest.
5) Choose Eternity as my 500-point weapon.
(5a: If you've already chosen your weapon and need an Eternity, go to Chat or the t50 section of the boards [see the end of this thread (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,562.0.html), in particular] and request an Eternity Farm, and grind until you win one.)
6) Keep grinding Halfbloods until I had enough money to build this deck. (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,1615.0.html).
7) Check off every item on the above list of "requirements for Uberity".
8) Start grinding False Gods and saving up for This deck, (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,1748.0.html) but that's because it works for my playstyle.  At this point, you're already uber and whatever choice you make won't change that.

This is not rocket science.  If there is a way to fight Halfbloods instead of AI3 -- and there is -- why would you ever not take it?  The 1.5% chance of winning an upgraded card is a HUGE boost to your potential profit, and when you only need to upgrade 7 cards to have a fighting chance against the game's final level of opponent, you can get there suprisingly fast.

Don't get mad.  Get UBER.

Sorry dude, this might have worked for you, but I think this is the WORST thing to put in a newbie tut. I followed the HB deck build to the letter, I won twice, lost about 30 times.... In a game that works on the concept of numbers, probability and math, this is a sucky W/L percentage. I went from 378 score down to 69. I have less than 200 elec. left, and i'm considering resetting my acct. AGAIN.  All this build did was make me lose everything I had built up.

For all the true noob deckbuilders like myself, I suggest using another one of the builds besides this one. Personally I'm going back to the "From Rags to Riches" post because that has worked the best for me so far. I was doing better grinding AI3 w/ Shrieker Rush. Longer, but better.

Sry Essence no offense to you, but like I said, this might have worked for you, but not a good idea for first-time noobs. Even those who, like me, studied the HB's in the Wiki.

'Edit: I realize now I probably should have read all the posts instead of just the first one, but I stand on what I said about Aether Mono for HB farm for noobs. Not a good idea. I'll stick with the longer AI3 grind until I build back up to where I was at b4.

Next time you are looking for a guide, i would suggest looking for something written within the last year.  Hint: 1.27>1.19
