That is so unbelieveably mind blowing. To think that I could be a blackhole... But I dunno. Is it just me, or is this WHOLE theory have a huge gap in it? Aren't blackholes absence of everything, including light? And if so, how would a proton, the building block of life, also be the absense of life? Stuck me as both very scary and cool.

Lol, odd that we both posted the same thing at nearly the same time...o-o

Well, that pretty much sums it up. Time to watch this video. =/

Well, a black hole isn't an absense of matter (I haven't watched the video...>.>). A black hole is, theoretically, a single point of super-dence mass, compressed into a singularity (why black holes are often called "quantum singularities"), which is a single point in space, which is as small as you can get. The gravitational field created by such an object literally bends the fabric of space/time around it, and pulls everything near it towards the center, including light. All matter pulled into it is compressed into the singularity, which ultimately increases the gravitational power of the black hole.

I watch too much Nat-Geo... :-\

On the contrary, black holes are very dense singularities, and they contain light, and the gravitational pull to keep it from escaping. The reason it's called a black hole is because light can't reflect off of it (it gets sucked in).

Ok, but if what you are saying is true, how can a proton be a blackhole? If light can't escape a blackhole (I knew this already), how can life exist if it keeps getting sucked up? because we all know that protons make up all matter, but oh can matter exist, if the building block itself is so unbelievably powerful? I just think that we are assuming more than we actually understand.
