Hunger Games Simulator: Elements Edition

I wasn't actually sure whether or not to put this in the Forum Games, since it doesn't follow the exact same format of the forum games in that section of the forum. I'll just put it here for now.

If you aren't aware, the Hunger Games Simulator is a website where one would put in 24 or more characters into a simulator that puts these 24 characters in a Hunger Games-like scenario. After a few rounds, one character remains standing and is declared the winner. I was thinking of setting up a few simulations of this, but with users of the forum here.

There will be 12 districts and 24 slots, two for each district. To claim a spot, simply comment the number district you want to be in and what gender you want to be portrayed as in the simulator. If no one is currently in that spot, you will receive it.

There could be a chance that custom events relating to Elements will show up in the simulator, but as of right now it's unlikely. Maybe if this is popular...

All of drawings are made by us and posted here. It can be whatever the order you want, but we decided to go with two FGs for each element. (Ignore Paradox being Aether FG, it was either them or Decay)

That said, we'd like to be in the thing. Don't really care about district, but if we had to choose, it's probably gonna be fifth (see image above); gender is male.

I remember playing Hunger Games sims. One especially cool one was where the creator just turned it into a free form RP. I managed to get my leg cut off on the very first day, but then some weird turn of events allowed me to live on till the very end (the careers captured me and made me teach them to swim, then they died by sea monster and I was left with all of their supplies which I used to create a wicked barbed wire whip). Then I died due to dice rolls. Oh well.

I toyed with hunger games styles pvp events or forum game/pvp hybrids, but they were always too complicated to go anywhere. Well it's a fun idea to keep around.

I'm not sure what you're hoping to do here though. If you're just gonna do simulations, you should just take some names and run them yourself. I doubt 24 interested people will join up.

I think for now I'll try to see if people are actually interested in signing up, mainly to add a slight sense of immersion. Last time I did this on a different forum I was able to get 4 rounds in.

Simply reply to the topic with what district you want to be in and what gender you would like to be portrayed as. (Reason I say this is because some people that joined started to change genders when the next rounds came around.)

I think that the reason you didn't get many participants is that the tool just generates a random story from what's entered.

From a signing-up perspective, there's nothing gained or lost from joining, and therefore no point.

From a hosting perspective, you're better off filling in the name with random people and doing the same thing.

It doesn't make a difference what you enter. 24 people aren't going to be super-eager to sign up for a completely random chance with no skill involved and no achievement in winning. If I were you, I'd take this premise, see if you can make a fully-fledged forum game out of it with a lot more skill involved and tell Linkcat about it.
