Well, it was all based on a bet I had in year 6. I bet some kid that I would eat 5000 Hobnobs over the course of a weekend. I didn't know that this would A: cost about £250 and B: My stomach cannot handle more than about 50, as I found out. The name stuck however, and I'm Hobnob5000 all across the internet (or perhaps a derivative, I'm "The Hobster" on some places)

I love this story most of all.  Honestly laughed out loud.  I made a similar bet about sledding off a second story roof....it ended about as well as you can imagine.

I chose Boingo for Kong.  It was the least macho name I could think of and was easy to remember.  And yes, it's the latter half of Oingo Boingo-- I think the movie "Weird Science" had been on that day.

I took my name: Dane and added the word Man to it because i am male. Pretty stupid but i thought it up when i was younger and its almost never used on sites so i don't have to add any numbers to it.

I was creating a character in a MMORPG and I wanted the name Sethia. Turns out it was already taken, so I just added an 's' to the beginning, and I thought, hey, this actually looks pretty cool. I've been using this name for almost everything related to the internet ever since.

For anyone not British enough to know what a Hobnob is, it is an oaty biscuit, quite crumbly, and very morish. The packets look like this , so if you come to Britain one day, you know what to buy

Back in the days of pre-Brood War Starcraft, I created a B.Net account.  I actually used the name Dragon a lot at the time, so I tried it.  Not knowing how naive I was that Dragon was quite a popular name, I tried searching it on the internet.  I made a mistake, however, and typed in "Dragoon" instead and the very first link that popped up was

"Dragoon is already taken, but Dragoon1140 is available!"

So I used that on B.Net and it stuck ever since.

Well, my IGN, Testrunner112, was only meant to be a Test account but it became my main account, simple as that. Why 112? Because I made Testrunners 111 and 11 <insert number here> as well

KorabanVII is also my Kongregate account. It came out of nowhere  The only reason there is VII at the end is because while it is an amazingly  8) name, I thought someone else had the name but I haven't seen anyone with Koraban.
