On second thought, I don't want to eat it, I want to use it as a baseball. I'd think it would be fun to hit it with a baseball bat and watch the guts fly all over the place.

I'm not slaying, I'm playing baseball. I'm not a big fan of bugs, certain ones anyway. Roachs, hate em. They're crawling all over my room and one once jumped off the ceiling and landed on me. Crickets are as annoying as hell. I was once at camp and a cricket got in our cabin. It would have kept us up all night had me and another kid not gone on a man hunt for it and promptly smashed it... Several times... And then kind of smeared it across the floor. But spiders now, they're awesome. Even though a few of the smaller ones have bit me, I still love them. They eat all the bugs I don't like.

I've seen really really big beetles, so those are not that surprising, and I know those giant tarantulas for a while now too; but that cricket in the OP is just too friggin big! I wonder if it got targeted by fallen druid. I've seen way too many crickets, I've caught like some 30 different species and I've never seen one anywhere close to this big..... I wonder if that photo is photoshopped. Or else maybe Drawckab has really small hands. And where do you live? Near the equator? Because only in those areas do bugs get really big since they don't have winter.
Hell no!  I wouldn't hold that thing.  I found it on the all knowing internet.

Unlike Harry59 I have actually eaten bugs from Bugs R' Us (that is what I was told the translation was but I'm not sure) in Thailand.  They were actually very good I liked Crickets best.  Tasted like Beef / Honey Mustard.
