Competitive Drawing Game 2018 http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=66387.msg1281373#msg1281373

Since the fall of iSketch and GuessASketch, there hasn't been a good online drawing game. At least until now. Presenting:

https://skribbl.io/

First you must set a custom avatar and username, then you are free to play.

If you're not familiar how the game works, here's a short rundown:
  • Each game consists of 3 Rounds. Everyone draws once per each Round.
  • A person is randomly chosen as the drawer, everyone else will be a guesser.
  • The drawer is given 3 words to choose from, and he needs to draw one (in a given time) while the guessers make guesses in Chat.
  • (If the drawer uses Chat, his drawing is interrupted for that Round, so don't do that until you are finished.)
  • The first guesser who finds the correct answer gets the most points, then every consecutive guesser gets a bit fewer points. This goes until time runs out. The drawer also gets points for every player who guessed his drawing.
  • If nobody finds the correct answer, nobody gets points.
  • The person who has the most points by the end of Round 3 wins.

The game also has some extra features. Above the screen, the guessers can see how many letters the word has. Below the screen, the drawer can set colors, brush size, and color fill.
For organized gameplay, private rooms can be hosted for Elements-only players.

Before playing, here are a few fair warnings:
  • Drawing fast is appreciated, and for this, I suggest using mouse and keyboard.
  • Some players might experience lag, when they cannot use chat for a period of time (cannot guess words either). For me, this usually happens after drawing, but only lasts for 1 turn. Spamming chat during a lag might result in a kick from the room, so only type something every 10 seconds until chat works again for you.
  • This game is in an early state, so there are not much toxic players yet, but I already met a few of them. The previous 2 sketching games were shut down due to massive amount of toxic players. The best way is to ignore them and focus on the game, or just make private rooms to play with friends.
  • CleanOnion might not be able to load the game.

Cheers!
