the deck below probably work a lot better than whats in the original post

Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vd 4vd 4vn 4vn 4vn 4vn 4vn 4vn 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uu 5uu 5uu 5uu 5uu 5uu 621 621
The unnuped version worked pretty well for me, I never used the maxwell's demons because the quintessences never showed up, but I could win with an EM anyway.

you dont have to wait for dragons to use liquid shadow
if oblitz cast momentum on an unburrowed shrieker, that gives you 5 turns of 11 damage (55 in total)
even if he didnt, thats still 4 turns (40 damage)
remember, LS remove all existing abilities including burrow

This deck worked like a charm - if you upgrade anything, the Antimatters should come first, as they are most crucial to survival and upgrading them is cheaper/more efficient than upgrading the amethyst pillars.

I made a similar version of the first-post deck as well. It's based off the same idea (Antimatter + Liquid Shadow), but doesn't use Quintessence + Maxwell's Demon:
Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vn 4vn 4vn 4vn 4vn 4vn 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uu 5uu 5uu 5uu 5uu 5uu 5v0 5v0
The biggest problem I have when facing Obliterator is finding Antimatters. I tried the first-post deck (the one with the Quintessence + Maxwell's), but didn't like it much because I didn't see the point in getting out that 2-card combo. It's only nice if you get it out early, but having to wait 4 turns for a Quintessence is a pretty long wait (and that's only if you manage to get one of them, let alone the accompanying Maxwell). By that time most of the Shriekers are burrowed, and you can't use the Paradox ability on Dragons. The main focus, really, is to get those Antimatters out, and you don't really need Maxwell to get rid of the Shriekers. The Entropy mark really helps with getting out Antimatter. Also, with 30 cards instead of 32, you have a better chance of drawing an Antimatter.

Basically this deck is a version of this one (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,11074.0.html), except with Voodoo Dolls in place of Dusk Mantles (because the Dusk Mantles would get pulvarized anyway). I like the Voodoo Dolls because Obliterator is dumb enough to Gravity Pull them (good for a small amount of damage), and they can give you a turn to stall while you try to find an Antimatter.

If you got purple and black nymphs, use them instead of maxwells.
Yeah, i know, they are extremely rare, but why killing the opponent's critters when they could be converted :)

Used the version of kobisjeruk, added 2 voodoo dolls to prevent decking out/buy some additional time at the beginning and it worked great!

JWS, my version. EM'd and won gravity force.  ^-^ dark nymph didn't even appear!!! I upped her just for this game, but she could be helpful. Come to think of it, if you play her, instant gravity force! oh well. happy obliterating obliterator!

For the deck in the first post I didn't need any quints/maxwells... or my nymph for that matter. Plain ol' Liquid Antimatter already pwns him

I agree, just drop the quints and Aether quanta.

Liquid Antimatter owns him hard! I've added some voodoo's for fun. (he grav pulls those...) Wonderfull counter, very effective.

I lost...
He drew pulverizer earlier and destroy some of my 'low in quantity' amethyst tower
I didnt have enough entropy quanta, to use paradox and antimatter

Perhaps changing the mark to entroppy, replacing maxwell and quintessence with more amethysts tower would give a better percantage of winning
