Puffer Fish https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=3574.msg32263#msg32263

I was in the process of making a deck using:
 :water mark
Puffer Fish
Epinephrine
Congeal
With epinephrine, a puffer fish would attack 4 times per turn.  I was also debating on leaving out congeal and putting in explosions with  :fire as my mark for permanent control so my puffer fish wont be blocked.
This deck would be strictly for friendly games and pvp, so please don't leave comments about how it wouldnt work versus fgs and ai5.

i have seen a deck build like this somewhere in the forums that used a gravity mark and unstoppable (upgraded momentum). This makes epinephrine'd puffer fish hit through shields and hit 4 more damage.

It is a very effective Trio deck... But sometimes slow and requires patience and a lot of balancing to get the number of cards right...

I might suggest this:

6 Life Pillars
8 Water Pillars
6 Pufferfish
4 Epinephrine/Adrenaline
4 Momentum
2 Congeal/or any Life or Water card, maybe low cost gravity.
Mark of Gravity

Should work.

Thanks for the advice, I didn't think of the momentum.  It not only gives them more damage, but they still attack 4 times.  I think I will make that deck you suggested.

When I was playing around with that deck I also made a rainbow version that I didn't post

Quantum Pillars
Puffer Fish
Epinephrine
Unstoppable
Quintessence
Supernovas - I was experimenting with this versus straight quantum pilars

Mark of Water - puffer fish are expensive

I don't remember card numbers but it seemed to work better, my pufferfish got killed too many times with the original deck. plus you have lots of quanta to throw in whatever you want from other elements - miracle is nice

I would just like to inform you that even though puffer fish will hit 4 times it only applies 2 damage.  So the deck isnt really worth it6 (i tried a variant of it on the trainer once.)

I was looking at this deck more for the poison than the damage.  Poisoned by a deck with gravity symbol and no death cards? That sounds like fun.  If you have say 2 puffer fish epinephrined with momentum, thats 24 damage with 8 poison added on per turn.   Granted they would instantly become targeted, but it would be worth it.

Just curious if this was a glitch in the trainer or what, but my puffer fish only did 2 poison counters onto the enemy instead of 4, even though it attacked 4 times.

unfortunately - for this deck - it is not a glitch. Zanz made it that way so that they aren't overpowered. Devourers with epinephrine don't steal 4 quanta either.

I encountered the same problem.

Pufferfish, Epinephrine & Momentum. Attacked 4 times. Only put two poison on my opponent...

Would it really be that unbalanced if it gave 1 poison per 1 attack?

This way, 6 Pufferfish + 6 Epinephrine = 12 Poison per turn. Provided it is not blocked.

Other way, 6 Pufferfish + 6 Epinephrine = 24 Poison per turn. Again, not blocked.

But it is a very expensive combination.. I mean, 30 Water Quanta for the Puffers, and then a further 18 Life Quanta to put the Epinephrines on them... That's a total of 58 Quanta... In any game, if someone lets you put this kind of damage on the table, without any Shields to block it, or any kind of creature control... Then, I say, let them suck on 24 poison a turn.
