I think that silence should be nerfed if not removed. No matter how good your strategy is you are not allowed to play. Its cost should increase to 7 or 8 quanta at least. While I have not seen it much in pvp it has taken its toll on me when I have faced mono Aether arena decks. To build on that I  feel that it is underused in pvp simply because of its nature, if you can chain silences, which is easy to do due to its cheap cost, your opponent will sit there just twiddling thumbs. In arena decks  double drawing allows the silences to be more potent and overpowered,  and in a few matches I literally couldn't play a card. A consideration is to just remove the card altogether and just find another more useful  card for Aether that wont be underused in pvp  because of its nature.

1. Please bring valueable arguements when wanting a nerf. And no, that you don't like the card is not a valueable arguement.

2. Please link a picture of the card which you want to have nerfed. Like that:

3. Silence in arena decks will only block your hand for one or two turns, and often you couldn't have played anything anyway.

4. He uses several "card spaces" in his deck for silence which he could have used for other cards, so he uses "card space" and "3-2 quanta" to stop you from playing for one turn. I don't feel like that is OP in any way.

5. And the rushier your deck is, the less use silence is. And if your deck is a stall, it isn't really effective either.

It has a niche in arena decks. Otherwise it's kinda both UU and UP. Unless you want to stop a SoSac chain or Dim Shield change, it really doesn't have much use other than that. I mean, sure, mindgate + this works, but that kinda strains quanta too and you're better off packing some creatures or some QP for your mindgate deck anyways.

Silence is deadly if you go first, denying the opponent the ability to drop pillars. It has a good place in decks like Silence is golden.

As for the arena whenever I go second the AI usually locks me out for 3 turns then drops an immortal and SOWs.

Weird, since the AI is specifically programmed not to play silence three turns in a row.

Estimation; all the same since the AI will spam silence as much as it can.

Silence + fractal is my favorite combination, but it requires some good timing to get a chain going in this case.

I made a silence/ ruby dragon rush deck recently after winning a silence from the oracle.  It was doing fine but got a really low rating, probably because it spams a lot of silences in a row just from me testing it.

I am sure that you don't use this card if you want your opponent to fall in love with you, right? But as long as you don't want that, i suppose it's a nice as well as a balanced card which can make your games more interesting from time to time. Aside from gold and platin arena, probably. I don't play these too much. But in gold it shouldn't be that much of a problem.

But as I said in another thread already, these two arenas aren't made for being balanced. They are made to probide a challenge. The things which should be in balance are PVP 1/2. And Silence is balanced there.
