The unupped version in the OP needs to be removed. It is a really bad version that has no way to keep shields on hand.  I would rather have had 3 hourglasses than the defrags. if I am just going to die when my 3rd shield runs out.

Blah.  First time the forum has let me down on a FG.

If you have trouble with quanta, just do -2 Immortals, +2 Aether Pillars.

I think his trouble is with drawing shields on time.

Yes, it's either that or inability to keep cards in hand (hence the "keep shields on hand" comment), which comes from quanta issues. Since you can't power HG's off mark and you're likely to deck out if you do use them because Permafrosts are the bigger issue, I did not provide a solution for draw power. It's good for an unupped deck and will win most of the time. In fact, it's not that it's a bad counter, just RNG with Dims as happens with all Dim decks.

if you want a cheaper deck the standard mono aether is cheaper and works wonders too :)

It's a deck that contains only aether cards. There is no other quanta being used, at all, be it by ability, by card, by anything.

What do you think the mark should be?

It is, obviously, Aether. It really makes 0 sense having any other mark.

The unupped deck from the op is very good. I play without deflags, instead i have 6xshard of wisdom (mono eather unupped), and i cut amount of dragons.

If someone runs out of shield, he or she need to play shields later on, when their health is below 50, not instantly when they can afford it - it's gamble, as em with this unupped deck isn't very likely anyway.

For me Limitless Speed FG OTK (in this thread) works wonders against Neptune. I alwayse beat him with ~ 75 HP.

why does the 1st deck in the OP not have a weapon?
either a longsword, for high damage/cost,
or a jade staff, which is just an improvement over SoG...
be quick- time is quanta.

Most of the easy FG counters are just basic decks thrown together to give you an idea of what you need to beat them 95% of the time. SoW MA does not lose a single game due to low damage, but there are sometimes obvious improvements. Since they're obvious, majo hasn't taken it upon himself to think for you.

In a few other cases, there are tweaks that can affect win rate, but they're usually just quanta adjustments and can often be found later in the thread.

I got a 500HP EM with this deck

This thing isn't too bad.

I just went for deckout. It almost worked, but needs either more cards/Eternity for when Neptune doesn't know what to do with his CC and starts drawing only one card at a time.
