Speed Light: Consistant 4-5 turn wins. Stats added! https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=17455.msg222356#msg222356

I was messing around with Sky Blitz in the trainer, and thought of using Pegasi instead of Wyrms to help reduce the strain on :air quantum. Then, when I was playing against AI3, I saw the AI use Blessing on its own Pegasus, and I thought, "I wonder how fast a deck based on that would be." So, I tried it, and this is what I got.

Yes, I have thought of using Longbows, but they take my precious :air , so they are evil. EVIL I SAY!

Against AI3, I've currently played 20 games, 5 of which have been four turn wins, 14 were five turn wins, and one was a miraculous three turn win, because I got a perfect hand (or nearly so). I also played some Top 50 decks as well, including a speedbow, life rush, Pufferfish/Squid poison stall, and that Voo Doo FG deck, beating all in under six turns.

Feel free to try it in the trainer (or if you have the cards, in PvP2), and let me know what you think.

Comments? Concerns? Frustrations?

EDIT :: Stats added.

I took my original stats from my 20 games, and added them to the stats I took from 30 more games to make a totaly preliminary of 50 games.

TurnsWins
31
412
527
68
71
81
90
100
111
Losses2
The 7 turn game was due to Rewinds and only one creature. The 8 turn was from Rewinds and no Towers/Pends. The 11 turn was that darn Water/Aether AI3 going first and getting a Squid out first turn. The losses are due entirely to drawing only one or two Towers/Pends.

I'm not exactly sure if I count losses when dividing to get the average, so my average of the 48 wins is 5.417 ttw, and my average of 50 games, counting the two losses, is 5.2 ttw.

This is my new deck to try out, I think.  Grabbix was fun, especially in pvp, but I've always liked Pegasi.

Would it do alright in PvP1, do you think?  I like that more.

You should add this to the ttw study

i didn't test it (too lazy)
but i am pretty sure that this is very fast, not only because it's said to be, but because of it having basically the best combo in the game (damage-wise) pegasi + blessing..

Grats on creating this deck, but I'm pretty sure this is an old concept many have tried out before. It looks pretty promising, but I don't think it'll do too well in PVP 2 with all the CC cards.
lava golems are the best creatures in the game cause I said so

If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

I'm aware that it's an older deck idea, but I was looking for something different to try, and you don't see many of these.

Not sure. You could try it unupgraded. Won't be nearly as fast, though. I often have a Pegasus out on my first turn, or a blessed one by turn two. Unupped, you'd have to wait for the quantum. Also, the Pegasi are weaker, the Angels are super weak, the Morning Glory deals one less damage, and blessings cost one more to play. =/

This would give it a preliminary ttw of 4.65 o.O That would make it one of the fastest, if not the fastest (Correct me if I am wrong) decks in the study.

I'm too busy/lazy to do a full 100 games, or 200 for that matter, but if someone would like to confirm it's speed for me, that'd be great. After all, it's entirely possible that I just got super lucky draws in each game. o-o

Just checked the thread, and this decks preliminary, bests the fastest deck in there (V2) by almost a full turn o.O
Now how to make it EM :P

no glories, get rid of one or both angels, add in 3 or 4 holy flashes, 30 or 40 worth of heal possible, not the best, most reliable AM, but since this deck is that fast, AI3 won't have dealt much dmg to u in those turns (they shouldn't anyway), so one or two of flashes will be enough for an EM usually

EDIT: tested the EM version in trainer...
all i have to say... dam, it works like a charm...
