Most rainbows are a little life heavy, this card helps with that a lot.

Commonly used in decks that require heavy quanta usage, like 6-jade-dragons decks. I see a nice combo with the many no-ability life creatures, luciferase, and leaf dragons.

Oh really?

In most rainbows, life is in the top three most used quanta, along with gravity and time.  Meanwhile, light is one of the least used, with the only need being miracle and sundials.  Plus, rustlers take a LOT of aggro.  (I'd have to check, but I think it's more than fallen druids) all for just 1 quantum.  If you want a pillarless deck, 1/3rd of the time that means this card is used.  (the other 2/3s use cremation, nova, or Ray of Light).  Don't knock it before you try it.

I love this card, specially now that I've upgraded it to a leaf dragon.  Tis perfect for my FFQ Lifegain Deck that I've been working on for the past few weeks now..  I also love the art for the Leaf Dragon.  Reminds of something you'd see in a Harry Potter: Magical Creatures class.

Rustler is really good in decks that are hard on life, but  I have everytime in rainbow deck more than 40 and i don't wanna give more cards.
yeah the new is awesome. I wish that more cards will have better art.

I like rustler, because it doesn't just change the light quanta into life quanta, it also doubles all quanta it changes. Result is more life quanta then you even imagined. (at least thats what happened to me.)

Most definitely!  On average I have well over 50, and most time I end towards 100.  It's pretty sweet.  With my FFQ deck I always have tons of FF out ^_^

Nice card art and decent ability. Not a bad card, though few decks have it, it is a key part in most decks that do use it.

Love the new art for Leaf Dragon. Useful when you have too much Light Quanta, and very little Life Quanta.

There's something about the new leaf dragon, but I can't quite put my finger on it. I mean the art is excellent and I have no issues with it.

But maybe b/c it looks like art and not like CG like the other cards? I don't know, but when it comes up next to other dragons, for example, the art looks a little flat or muted. It just looks out of place to me when it comes up next to a bunch of other cards.

When you compare it to other dragons, you're comparing it to 11 non-life cards.  Hence, they don't have that awesome spark.

I'm all for moving all 12 dragons to life, BTW, they'll probably become more awesome.

Oh, c'mon! Life already has 3 dragons (leaf, emerald and jade)! If you move all the other dragons to life where would be fun in that?

On the other hand undead-life dragons seem quite an interesting concept.

It only uses it's ability once per turn if you cast an SoR on rustler.

the Leaf Dragon is usefull in a FFQ deck, no need light, you need life quanta to put Feral bond :D

One of the best combos in the game is Rustler+Firefly Queen= a lot of Fireflies.

The un-upped version should be: 0|3 and the upped version should be: 0|6

Overall this is a good card to double your life quanta by using light pillars and not emerald ones. Also useful in the FFQ Chain.

I agree the card art is epic and it looks really cute but all the other card art looks animated except this one, which looks like a painting and it's quite annoying.

No D: What do I adrenaline when I'm desperate if they make this change. I love the card as it is. It might even need a higher cost with those stats (2 :life probably)

Hm, while that's a pity, I understand that an actual infinity of life quanta could be thought of as a leeeetle bit overpowered (say in combination with Dissipation Fields).
