Most of MitoEmerald or MitoJade decks are based on Shard of Readiness in order to bring an army of dragons without paying for them. A pretty good strategy, however it needs a 3-card combo and it heavily depends on RNG to function. But what if we remove the SoR and replace them just with pillars instead?
 Arthanasios, are you crazy or something? Have you just played ETG yesterday for the first time? What kind of crappy deck is this?!
The above is a reasonable reaction coming for a decent ETG player who is going to witness the following decks. I do not support a SoR-less mito-dragon deck is better than a SoR-based one, however:
1) It is faster; A fair starting hand would allow you to summon your first Emerald Dragon at your 3rd turn (in the unupped version) or your first Jade Dragon at your 2nd turn (in the upped version).
2) It is less RNG-ruined; Two-card combo (Dragon + Mitosis) is more stable than a three-card one (Dragon + Mitosis + SoR).
3) It doesn't require multiple copies of a rare card (SoR).

unupped version:

{+1 Mitosis, -1 Pillar/Pend is a possible choice here, however I personally wouldn't really recommend it, 5 Mitosis are enough in my opinion. Also, -1 Mitosis & +1 Pillar/Pend can also help in favor of speed, though it isn't probably the best choice.}

upped version:

Deck import code : [Select]

{+1 Mitosis, -1 Tower/Pend is a possible choice here, however I personally wouldn't really recommend it, 4 Mitosis are enough in my opinion. Also, repacing Jade Dragons with the unupped Emerald ones can be a worthy choice if you favor speed over quality.}

Ok, now you can flame me and tell that my decks suck, I will endure it...

I don't mind not using SoR ^^

I'd personally fit in either 2 Thorn Carpace or 2 Bonds.
Not sure though what to remove. Probably a pillar/pend or a dragon.

I really dislike the use of SoR in dragon decks.  Using this instead of a Rustler deck, however, is dicier.

Is a 6/5 dragon/mitosis build really the best? I'd probably use something like a 5/4 build, but that's just me talking without having actually trying out the deck.

As always, a deck like this is more of a break deck, because I doubt it has enough speed to beat the faster rushes. It also has no control, quite a large weakness.

I have been experimenting with a MitoDragons build in PvP1 and Bronze League. It usually loses to early CC on rustler, but otherwise it is quite fast. On the whole it has the same drawbacks as any other MitoDragons build (loses against DimShield etc.)

Using this instead of a Rustler deck, however, is dicier.

Rustler + Jade + Mitosis = 3 card combo
Jade + Mitosis = 2 card combo

Because of the above, rustler-jade is actually dicier than MitoDragons. Furthermore, Rustlers are very vulnerable to CC of any short.

I don't mind not using SoR ^^

I'd personally fit in either 2 Thorn Carpace or 2 Bonds.
Not sure though what to remove. Probably a pillar/pend or a dragon.

In general, I wouldn't remove a pillar since every pillar is essential in this deck in order to summon plenty of dragons as soon as possible.

It has about the same weaknesses with a SoR-Mito-Jade deck. About being the best, this deck is surely not the most effective kind of deck but posting a game-breaking deck isn't my goal here. A 5/4 build is easily rng-ruined, I would keep the 6/5 build if I were you. Other rushes can often beat this deck, but same goes with the SoR variants. Furthermore, do not underestimate the speed of this deck with a good starting hand; summoning an Emerald/Jade Dragon on your very second turn (upped version) is not something to be taken lightly...

Sorry for not reading the OP closely enough; however, going from there, what exactly is it that you want to do with this deck? For instance, an as low as possible TTK or do you want to compete with midrange decks?

Part of the reason I posted the rustler variant is that it seems to me you would draw into pillars way to often for this deck to be viable. I'll build it and try it myself :)

Edit: I won 5 straight matches in PvP1 with it, so I have to admit it is stronger than I first thought. I followed your 5/6 Mitosis/Dragon build exactly.

I've replaced the upgraded version with -1 Mitosis, +1 Tower/Pend, it just seems to work better that way (after all, Jades need more quanta than Emerald Dragons).
Also, the unupped and upped versions do fair against AI3 and AI4 respectively and can strike very fast with a decent draw, however they have plenty counters, especially by :aether and :entropy decks.
 Casting Mitosis as CC upon Maxwells, Purple Nymphs, Elves and Squids can be very useful at midgame, where you keep your dragons active for another turn or two in order to finish their job. In front of Dims, keep mitosising your dragons for a greater attack later, if facing Lobos use your Mitosis wisely & at the right moment, if opponent plays PU/TU with Dim chain you're screwed.
 Fortunately, this decks can be proven quite RT-resistant; due to great amounts of incoming quanta, reversed dragons can be played again next turn.

Splashing lobotomizer is not a good idea mkay. Not enough quanta to support it. Also slows down your deck speed and focus.

Thanks, but I like my lobotomizer. Mainly due to the fact that it was one of my first rare weapons  ;)

Once I'm done obsessing, I'll take it back out. And take 10 damage, 13 upgraded.
