^ Yeah, and the unupped could be compared to Titanium Shield. I don't see your point.

The damage reduction is a double-edged sword since your opponent gets it too. For the upped, I judged that a 2-point damage reduction was more effective, since one of the uses of this card is to replace your enemy's shield with an inferior shield. Upped creatures, particularly upped light creatures, should have no problem doing significant damage through the enemy's 2-point shield.

The unupped is expected to be used more defensively, since a 2 damage reduction shield is pretty good for unupped.

The only thing worth replacing is Bone Wall. All other shields have easier ways to deal with them. Though this is a nice idea for Light.

Replacing a Phase Shield is fine too!
And a Diamond Shield too!
And a Dissipation shield too (but more situational)!
And a Gravity Shield too (situational)!
And a Wings too (situational)!
And a Skull shield too!
And so on...

Do your homework then. Earth is the element of protection and per definitionem supposed to have the shields with the highest damage reduction in game.

To the card itself: I like it very much. Wouldn't have thought that it was possible to create a card that destroys Dim Shields and fits Lights theme.

Thanks for voting Civility into the Armory. I'm flattered! My art for this card is ok I guess, but if anyone would like to take a crack at improving the artwork, I'd much appreciate it.

It should stay at 2 as if it is used to get through your opponent's shield then blocking of 3 damage would be counter productive.
