For this card: 'time barrier' is similar to 'bone shield' for blocking damage. Plus it gives Time a shield that actually blocks damage. And it could work well in a mono-Time. And yes, it gets counters if your opponent uses a card effect to draw a card. SERIES: Card Design War : Top 8

the upgraded verison should cost slightly less maybe 5-6 like with bone wall? other wise great card nice too see someone giving time some mad <3.

Ya, the original restriction was that the cost had to be 7 or more.

I was thinking:
Chronos Barrier: 7 --> 5   .... and the rest of the card exactly like Time Barrier.

So it is a Bone wall equivalent for time. I like it. I think that time would greatly benefit such a card.
I just wonder if the gain +2 shield triggered is not too simple. I mean, in mono-death you have no way to directly add two shields (except by sacrificing a virus), you generally have to wait that the poison makes its effect. On the other hand, in any other combination a death trigger is way easier than a supplementary draw trigger ...

Add a few Hourglasses, and you're nearly invincible.  Drawing 4 cards a turn, +1 for your opponent, holds back 10 attacks.  Not impossible to beat, but very, very powerful.  Throw in a few Eternities and Animate Weapons.  IDK... Overpowered, or just really good?

Does it gain barriers for the first card drawn during the turn?

I would suggest: Gain 2 barriers when an effect draws a card. --> Gain 1 barrier when a card is drawn.
Also it could start with fewer barriers to represent the ease of drawing
