Mhm, at a certain point in late game you would be able to keep your opponent under constant silence, not sure if this is OP yet...

On average, both Chaos Power and Blessing give +3 | +3 (Chaos Power actually gives +2.5 | +2.5 on average),

Nitpick, but Chaos Power actually does give an average of +3 | +3, since its a random whole integer between 1-5, not 0-5.

In any case, indeed a Mitosis + Higurashi + Silence or Quintessence to make up for the first turn or two of vulnerability can keep a permanent lockdown, but to do this reliably you've got to devote essentially all the resources in your deck to this. So while you can 'do' that, you can't do much else and have to contend with the first few cards they got on the board, a single Lava Golem growing could outpace whatever damage you can probably field, nevermind if they get a shield up.

So honestly I'm not too concerned about the permanent silence, since any combo that grants permanent silence is essentially devoting the entirety of its resources to maintaining the lockdown and has virtually no capacity to seize heavy capital on it.

General view of the Silence ability seems that it is balanced and potentially underpowered.

On the flipside, the double attack ability leans toward OP by 1 quantum only in a duo.

Higurashi
1|1 attack twice for 3 |3 +1card with low 1|3hp.
Solo it is UP by 2|3 casting cost (2 atk for 4 cost units)
Mono it is UP by 1|2 casting cost (8 atk for 9 cost units)
-> Duo with attack buff (Blessing|Chaos Power) it is OP by 1|1 casting cost (8|7 atk [5.5hp upped] for 7|5 cost units)
Duo with ability it is UP by 2|3 cost units (6 cost units for Silence [4 cost units])
A different upgrade change would help balance 1->3 hp is not much.
The difference between Mono and Duo attack might make it balanced.

I'm still a bit unsure about this card so I'm bumping it for feedback. I've also put up a poll on possible upgrade options.

For real though, the card is nice, and I like the synergy but this kind of reminds me of another card I saw...mandrake or something similar. It's pretty good, I think a tad OP, and would be a stall staple. chain dimensional shields then send out a ton of these plus some silence cards themselves. run these off the mark/pendulums, toss in a few SoG maybe

Alright, a bit of discussion with OldTrees confirms that the double attack ability may be balanced as well.

I'm still not satisfied with the upgrade at the moment, and I've only gotten 2 votes for the poll, so I'm bumping this. If there aren't anymore votes in the near future I'll probably change the upgrade myself unless people think the current one is okay.

Okay, so agentflare and light_sefi are adamant that this card can easily do 3-4-turn autowins with Mitosis and Higurashi alone (Note that this only works if your opponent sits around doing nothing).

3+Pillars, 1+ Higs, 1+ Mitosis (Easily done). 1st turn, dump pillars, play higs. 2nd turn, if pillar, play mitosis, if higs, play higs, sac higs for silence. Repeat step 2 until: xth turn,play pillar mitosis. 4th turn, chain until win.

Overall, this card is still up in the air. I'm still tweaking the card for ideal balance and looking for feedback on a decent upgrade choice. Please provide feedback.

This would be an excellent alternative to Deja Vu in Wise-Vu - ESPECIALLY  in the event of a reflect shield!

Wow, with fractal, mitosis, and quint, this could lead to a very nasty infinite silence deck... Vulnerable to CC, but the opponent would only get 1 shot unless they had an owl's eye, otyugh or scarabs...
I'll have to keep an eye on this one, it could be very fun to play with.
