NOTES:
A while ago Thalas made a *be*a*u*tiful* dragon for the 13th element project, and unfortunately it has since gotten much less attention than it deserves.  I had tried thinking of something that could use it, but mostly came up empty handed.  But after seeing SoFr, it seemed befitting to have a card with a base boost similar to the shard.  The % would be additive similar to how the shards interact with each other, this creature would just have a higher base % chance to start with.  The atk/cost ratio was designed to fit in between wyrm and the dragon, not requiring upkeep cost like wyrm or duo quanta cost like ffq for effectiveness.

Ohh, I like this one. That is some very cool artwork. The ability is very nice as well. Sort of a soft hybrid of momentum and dive. NICE!

The upgraded one seems too powerful to me.  It's out of range for any hard CC except upgraded Rage Potion, has quanta cost + 1 for attack and has a quite decent ability to go with it.  Why is this card (upped and unupped) not overpowered?

i wouldnt say its "out of the range of cc", it just would take more than one some of the time.  and considering the ability is at its base 25%, it will average out to being a 9 atk card, which is definitely within the structure of a 7 cost upgraded card.

That's exactly what he means by "out of the range of cc". Either way, upgrading this card has too many benefits, so either the unupgraded is UP or the upgraded is OP. I'd go with the latter, since you can compare it to a GotP that sometimes requires double the quanta/cards to get rid of and acts like a momentum'd Dragon 1/4 of the time (compare GotP vs. Phase Shield and Elder Wyvern vs. Phase Shield). Dropping its HP back to 4 should suffice in balancing it.

I really love this idea.
but i think the HPs of the upgraded card are lil bit to high, too. Maybe decreasing the HP a little bit of the upgraded card?

nixed the hp upgrade, now the upped only gains 2 base attack.
