Random history lesson:
Shard of Gratitude was the first shard added to the game, and it was only available by donating $5. It spread out to the rest of the userbase through the Top50, the precursor to the Arena. Top 50 players would intentionally have their deck be full of rares when they logged out so that other players would have a high chance of spinning them. These were called farms. Decks with lots of rares that were still functional were called biting farms. When SoG was first released, several top 50 players donated and put up farms or biting farms to spread it to the rest of the top 50 and the userbase. The same thing was done with SoD and SoR.
