New rules regarding salvaging/discarding:

LOSING A BATTLE
When you lose a battle, you lose 30 cards.

- Loser discards 30 cards (any cards from the deck loser used)
- Winner salvages 6 cards (any cards from the deck loser used)
- Rest of the cards go back to Vault

Both the salvaging and discarding are done in secret by posting the card list in the secret forum section at the end of each round. Teams can decide what cards to salvage/discard as a team.

Player who lost will build a new deck. If there are not enough cards in the Vault, the player has to wait and hope that other team members manage to salvage enough cards for him to get back into the game. Player has to build a new deck if possible. Skipping a round when it is possible to build a legal deck is not allowed!

After all the battles have been fought, we will go back to Phase 3 and start the next round. Rounds continue until there is only one team left.

Difference to the previous system is that salvaging/discarding are done in secret, and both players can potentially take the same card. Last one doesn't make much sense but helps with organizing the event and makes it more difficult for other teams to keep track what cards their opponents have in their Vaults.

I made some changes to War timeline.

Like previously, one round will last a total of 6 days. Instead of using the old 2/4 system, we are changing to:

3 days of deckbuilding and salvaging/discarding
3 days of duels

This was changed because deckbuilding is such a crucial part of the whole thing, and only 2 days to complete it is not nearly enough.

I know 3 days of duels might make things a bit difficult but we have the replacement system in place so it shouldn't be that big of a problem.

I'm hoping this system works because if it doesn't we have to start using 8 day method that would make War last a lot longer.

New Vaults have arrived!

It's time to get rid of those inconvenient BBcode Vaults and replace them with Vaults built with Google Docs spreadsheets.

Teams can now find a new sticky thread called "VAULT" in their secret sections. This Vault can be edited by everyone on that team using the link provided. Do not give that link to outsiders.

These new Vaults should make the salvaging/discarding process easier.

P.s. I copy-pasted the card names from an earlier Excel document made by Xinef.

Some Vaults are getting out of control. Here are some tips to make everything run more smoothly:

- Assign one person who does Vault updating (others don't touch it)
- When you edit the Vault, reply to that thread explaining what you did. No need to list individual cards, just say like: "Updated round 2 salvaging and discarding"

There's a bug with Google Docs it seems. You might get an error while loading the Vault. To fix this, simply reload the page.

Hopefully Google fixes this asap.

Round 3 duels have been extended by 24 hours because of server downtime.
