Seems a little OP because playing a nova would let you pay 3 of these in turn 1.

any "Other" element card made would be op with nova since it gives you 12 quanta, which could be comparable to immolation which could be used to summon bigger creatures like a phoenix or 6 ash eaters first turn with tons left over

aether mark 3 super novas played 2 cond turn means 8 aether quanta 6 of each diffrent means - fractal 28 quanta means 5 of those in 2cond turn means ultimate

Hmm, a way to make the Mercs less effective?  Howsabout they lose 1 hp a turn.  Never can find good mercs anyways...

A mercenary should be buyable by everyone, the opponent could take it on his side by paying one more quanta of the last cost....

actually I was thinking something simmilar just now. Seems you beat me to the point.
I was also thinking of a cumulative upkeep, making him hard to keep for extended periods of time

it seems you want to destroy monos completly and only let rainbows own think of it if the other would be able topay he only could if he owuld been rainbow otherwise he owuld have to pay lets say in shrieker rush 6 earth quanta sucks

Zanz said a LONG time ago in the old Meebo chat that he doesn't plan on making creatures of the 'other' type. Until he says otherwise, I wouldn't expect a standalone creature like this to make its way into the game.

Never really did expect it to even make it to the crucible. It was kind of a random idea i had , just a creaure that would work for any side no matter the color.
Also wouldn't it be possible for zanz to make it so that it required all quant to summon/cast the "other" cards have to be one of the types of quanta? (like all aether or all water)so you cant just nova summon one you have to buld up the required amout of any quanta?

Other should not have creatures. Shards are a way of making a reward useable by everyone no matter what the element is. This would not help most decks at all, just clutter space and not fit with whatever theme it is. Also, I am against human presence in elements, so I'm not exactly a big fan of this card

Sorry if I came off sounding a bit like Simon Cowell :P
