I was anticipating this one, and I have to say that it is very overpowered. If the mounts were all released, this is the one that I would have in my deck ;)

You know why? No creature save mutations has an ability to destroy or steal permanents. Butterfly Effect, however, allows you to destroy permanents - for 8 :entropy to cast, 3 :entropy to use, and 2 cards (a Butterfly Effect and a creature card that MUST have an attack of less than 3).

These are some huge payoffs for a simply creature with an expensive "Destroy" ability.

And here we have a creature that can not only destroy permanents for a cheap cost, but it can STEAL them. And it's a creature, which means you can spam as many of them as you want! And all you need is one of these cards!

Definitely overpowered. I'm not too sure how to balance it, besides replacing the ability altogether.

I know, but I am at a loss for a darkness skill/spell that this mount could have other than steal.

I did not want to copy any of the nymph abilities, and this is the most logical choice for a darkness mount, but you are right.  It is, by far, the most overpowered.  I tried to compensate for that by making this the mount with the weakest power and hp.  It can be killed by an un-upped oty, all the damage spells except 1 thunderstorm, paradox, 2 hits against a fire shield.

I could use :darkness: Shadow Bond: Gain :death :death. This ability can be used multiple times per turn. as Icybreaker suggested in the mount post, but I don't really like that skill.

Please, everyone, suggest different skills that the darkness mount could have.  I am very open to all suggestions on all of these mounts.

Yeah, Shadow Bond is... lackluster. I tried to make it a mirror of Rustler (Rustler uses Light and produces Light, so this uses Darkness and produces Death! Polar opposites!) but it's rather boring. However, it DOES open up new strategies for a more cohesive :death / :darkness duo deck.

New suggestion:

Fear 3 :darkness: Target creature with less attack than Midnight Tiger becomes the first card of the creature owner's deck.

You can then change Midnight Tiger's stats from 3|2 to something like 4|1. Upgraded, it costs 1 more but is 6|1. Or something :P Buffs could be good with it.

that fear ability is too much like reverse time.  I would prefer a fear ability:

Fear  :darkness :darkness: Target creature's attacks have a 50% chance to miss.

It would stack with Dusk Mantle, so that a feared creature would have a 50% chance to miss, then a 50% chance to miss, lending essentially, a 75% miss chance.

At least, that's how I think any sort of 'fear' skill should work.

Sounds good. Not too overpowered, but still useful. My "Fear" ability was pulled straight out of our very first Card Idea Competition, and I liked it. Your version works, though.

this idea may a bit overpowered but how about vampire horse or something and let it drain 1 life from each creature on field and giving it this card or how abou letting it make that other cards gain steal abillity so they steal a abillity from opponent

This card has been nerfed by adding the following text:

You may use it's ability this turn.  It returns to opponent's control at the end of your turn.

Discuss.
