ART: OdinVanguard Created using Bryce7 and Hexagon IDEA: OdinVanguard NOTES: "Today will be surprisingly mundane" "Sometimes you have to break a few legs to make a spider omlete." The idea is fairly straightforward. This creature will produce one quantum for its owner, matching that players mark type, whenever it takes damage. The creature's "ability" will cause it to take damage every time it attacks or is targeted. In the case of adrenaline, the ability will only activate every other attack, like venom or other quanta producers. The idea is to create a versatile, balanced, general purpose quanta producing creature that can be splashed into a range of different decks. SERIES:

Right, its 1 quanta per source. Of course, since you also target it twice it takes damage 2 additional times, so you would get back 3 quanta.

1) Basilisk blood -> takes 1 damage from "fragile" ability -> +1 quanta
2) Rage pot -> 5 damage from rage pot (1 quanta) then 1 damage from "fragile" (1 quanta) -> +2 quanta
Net effect of +3 quanta, 7 damage inflicted, +5|+20 to stats and a 6 turn delay.
(I.e. you would get 3 quanta of your mark and have a 6|16 creature with a 6 turn delay for a total cost of 2  , 3  , 1 to 2  and 3 cards)

This + Fractal + Nova looks like quite some fun, But I still would consider it a bit underpowered. Maybe 2/3 for unupped and 2/5 for upped? Right now, the unupped apears pretty useless in any kind of deck. (or both creatures 2/4, and increase the unupped cost to 3?)

Hmmm, seems reasonable. I wasn't sure if a 2|3 would be too powerful compared to other 1 to 2  cost elemental creatures.

I think bumping them to 2|3 and 2|5 respectively seems reasonable though... although the poor unupped antlion will be even more useless now ... lol.

...I was thinkin something along the lines of: SoPa + This + fractal + nova then dryspell + fractal repeatedly ...
