What would be the best way to sort the results of the "
Decks Used Against Arena With Stats" study within each category?
Options:
-Special Spins Per Hour (SSPH) - As described in
UEI, SSPH is based off the "games per special spin" table shown in the OP of the
arena stats study, and assumes 333 turns occur per hour. This option would result in each category of the study being sorted for maximum rares over time.
-Profit Per Hour (UEI) - Total electrum per hour (including the value of cards won from both regular spins and special spins). Also assumes 333 turns occur per hour. More details in the
UEI thread. This option would result in each category of the study being sorted for maximum electrum over time.
-Win Rate (WR) - Current and traditional sorting method. Ranks decks purely by win rate percentage without considering speed.
-Turns To Win (TTW) - Method that has been used at various times in the past for other studies. Ranks decks purely by speed without considering win rate.
-Turns Per Win (TPW) - TTW divided by Win Rate. Ranks decks by the amount of turns it takes to get a win. Something of a compromise between other options.
If it affects your decision, I currently intend to set up the categories as follows:
-Bronze (Unupped)
-Silver (Unupped)
-Bronze (Upped)
-Silver (Upped)
-Gold (Upped)
-Platinum (Upped)
Categories for unupped gold/platinum would be added were an unupped deck found that could succeed. I am willing to take suggestions on alternate ways to do this if anyone has opinions.
Does anyone have any thoughts on the sorting method? This poll will remain open until whenever I update the arena stats OP, which could be today or could be a month from now.
edit: For clarification, if an option other than win rate is chosen, decks which do not have a TTW recorded will be placed at the bottom of the list until we are able to retest including TTW.
