I was unhappy to learn this, which is sort of a well known, often used deck, hadn't been posted in the Mono-Fire forum.

To my knowledge this deck was originally created by ~Napalm, who used it in a variety of places but I think the first was here.

The fire-hate patch hurt it a bit.
Being able to have above 75 quanta was really nice.
And aww, the title made me expect a stall deck that uses SoB to deck the opponent out even faster

This deck is still strong enough to be competitive.

If you fiddle with it some you'll find that it's basically a versatile rush deck.  Games are decided long before you reach 75 quanta.  You might note that ~Napalm's post that I linked was two months after v1.29 (the quanta cap), and she used it in a variety of events after that post with a lot of success.

I meant mostly in terms of timing... which was awful imho.

Your opinion was not at all humble.  Nor was it polite, thoughtful, or additive.  This deck deserves its own thread but the creator didn't put it here.  If my timeliness upsets you and you have nothing to contribute, don't feel you have to post here.

Wait a minute, no one actually posted this deck? This is my most favourite deck. It is the deck where I have all the favourite cards in it. and since I like this deck so much, I always have great luck playing with it. and to think no one ever posted it...

It's been a very long time since I've seen the original without Deflags. What I'm very much set into and used to both me and Nap using is this:

So it's -2 quanta sources, -1 Fahren, +2 Deflags, +1 Phoenix. I've found the Deflags are crucial against Dim Shield decks and most stalls, especially that pesky MA Elder since it packs both Lobos and Lightning (:<).

What is the upgrading order?

This monofire is fitted for the unupped meta. Its damage is rather slow the upped meta. If you were to upgrade it, you would go Pillars/Pends, Bolts, Fahrens, Deflags. Phoenixes remain unupped.

A more common uppped Monofire would contain Brimstones, MP's, Lances, Explosions and a few Dragons to fill in the offence. Shard of Bravery rushes are also common.

i was just saying i got hit with a similiar deck with 4x mark and a few red nymphs that just CRUSHED me in pvp1, can anyone say ragequit?!? It was at least at this point with my little grabbow, since I reset AGAIN. If this keeps up I'll never make it to shards-style, maybe i should enter the mentor program .....j/k
