Hi guys,

So I figured to go ahead and introduce myself here. My name is Kevin, 22 years old and working as a research chemist for a big petrochemical company. I've found out about this game when I was looking for online card games. I chose to play Darkness as a first mono-deck.

Looking for some fun times around here.

Welcome.

Darkness is a great element to start out with - it has a little bit of every broad category of card, so you'll get exposed to numerous different aspects of the game, not to mention that it's one of the stronger single elements to start out with.

I've noticed I could even get some wins in PvP 1 with my current list which I suppose is really standard.

I'm playing:
15 Obsidian Pillar
6 Black Dragon
4 Devourer
3 Life Steal
1 Steal
1 Vampire Stilleto

My default opinion of a new card is OP. Your job as a card creator will have to be to convince me otherwise.

That's a pretty good build. You'd probably do better (particularly in PvP) if you removed four of the pillars and replaced them with two more devourers and two more steals. Don't forget that devourers make quanta for you in addition to the pillars (and also simultaneously drain quanta from your opponent) and steals are just great in general.

Alright. I was trying to mess around with some of the figures and got to the conclusion that 15 Pillars might be a little too much. Cutting them for those cards seems a good call :).
