Game 1: Earth Mark? Earth
quakes. Super. Luckily though because of a wonderful supply of quanta, I just tossed all my resources into play without hesitation, with a backup rewind in case he decided to pull off flying Pulverizer.
As I got pillars and pendulums, I held them back in restraint to see which stack he would hit, and with each Earthquake that was tossed, I placed another Light Tower or Pillar in its place. This kept my quanta flowing fairly well, and while his Steel Golems were punching me here and there, an early Sanctuary and some Reverse Times kept him at bay. The last minute surprise of him launching all of his EQ's (as well as placing Acceleration on his solo Golem) made me realize what deck it was, and I had to card count to see how much PC he had. A single dragon whittled him down to 0 HP. 1-0
Game 2: 4-quanta source draws are dandy - he pulls up an entire stack of gravity pendulums (not good), but then I realize that because of how his deck must be structured, he probably isn't using expensive gravity cards like chargers or dragons, so I just keep my rewinds just for his golems.
I set an early dragon and played my pillars cautiously (so that he wouldn't stop the quanta flow); I pulled out an extra dragon once I built up over 20 light quanta (the dragons took a long while to get out). I made a very slight play mistake in regards to controlling his card drawing, but now I think it didn't matter. 2-0
Game 3: Essentially a repeat of the previous games, but I used my Reverse Times illogically - I rewound them when he didn't have
to play them, but because of his quanta stack, he would be able to play two golems (or a golem and an EQ) simultaneously. Luckily though, Sanctuaries had healed a lot of the damage that the Golems were putting out, and I just had to keep my hand safe away from his PC spam.
I never saw a Pulverizer , so I figured my Sancts were fine. He almost killed me by putting out all of his golems (while I had no CC left) and Accelerating one, but the Rewinds came near the very end where I needed them most, and I kept reversing the speedy monster to create the 6 HP final duel. 3-0
Great games Captain! ^^;; If you pulled those Pulvys, this battle may have gone a little bit differently...
