A deck of my own creation, (with a few last-minute edits by MrPaper because I was given Lt while I was asleep) it was made to destroy the lightstall, disco pharaoh and dunes we predicted. It only feared ghosts, though as they seemed far away, Gollum stood ready for the challenge.Game 1: Saw Darkness mark and face palmed. I couldn't get this deck to work properly against Ghostmare in testing, and I assumed that my deflags would now be useless.
Won the toss. One of each creature in starting hand and drew a deflag the round he played a dagger. They were useful after all! I BBed the Ghost he played and kept playing creatures through rewinds. He gets me to a hand full of Ghosts except one BB, so I BBed his Ghost - with one delay counter - again. I end up having to discard a ghost, but no more nightmares show and I pummel him down. (WIN)
Game 2: Won toss again, though I didn't have such a good starting hand. About the third turn he played dusk, which I promptly deflaged, feeling glad they weren't wasted. I BBed every Ghost he played, and played every creature I could. After a second nightmare, I was forced to discard a Ghost or lose a deflag or BB that I though could be vital, a decision that probably cost me the match because I ended up discarding the BB anyway. He played a nymph and nightmared a third time to get me down to 6 hp. 1 turn in it. (LOSS)
Game 3: Lost toss after waiting for ages to connect. 2 pend 1 piller hand, which is okay for MPs so I got one out turn 3. He then played dagger, Ghost and nightmare. I deflaged and BBed to keep away damage; another dagger he played, which I deflaged again. I was really glad for the deflags by this time! Didn't see nightmare again for a while. I finally drew my sole nymph, which was rewound, though the 2nd time I played it itwas able to bb one of his Ghosts that had come out of stasis, and a turn get him into kill zone with 13hp. He rewound as much as possible, but to no avail. (WIN)
Game 4: Won toss. MP and LG in hand with a deflag and a BB. BBed his nymph just before desync. We play the AI, which decided to nightmare the nymph and then play a Ghost. I BBed the Ghost, draw my nymph, BB his next Ghost with my nymph, deflag both the daggers he puts out, re-play my Lava Golem a few times and knock it down. However, McSod isn't as stupid as AI, so we replayed. (DRAW)
Game 5: Finally got in after several connection failures. Won toss again, but by the time I could play a golem, the server kicked both of us out of the game. (FAIL)
Game 6: We waited half an hour for connections to rectify themselves, and both got in on the second try. I lost the toss with a 2 pend draw, but managed to get out 2 phoenixes on round 3. He stole one of my now 3 pends, though I'm not sure if that's because he hasn't seen any other perms from me, or he was just desperate. I deflaged is dusk and 2 daggers, but no creatures came out of him until he had 52hp. Of course, I BBed his Ghost, and the one that came after it. I was forced to discard a Ghost, but it was too late to do any real damage. (WIN)
