Game summaries
coming soon now updated. Great games n00b (again)!
Let's see if I can remember what went down...
Game 1: I see Gravity Mark and automatically begin fearing that he has Adrenaline-Momentum Scorpions, which is easily accessed by small amounts of quanta. Luckily though, Discord was already propped by my side and with a two pendulum/one light pillar out from the start, I managed to scramble n00b's resources - only to realize that his massive Life pillars (and leftover Life Towers) were suited for something bigger. He managed to get a dragon out, but my Discord and Crusaders slowly sliced him up before he finish me off. The coin toss made all the difference this time around, as I think I won by only 1 turn... 1-0
Game 2: See Game 1 - perfect pendulum/pillar combo allowed me to enable an early Discord, but my Crusaders were still running to the front line. n00b's pillar (and tower) stack showed no restraint. In two turns, I just saw how nasty a Mitosis-Emerald Dragon could get, and I hope my weapon would halt his procreation for as long as I could. I decided to play my Solar Shield (hooray!) which helped offset my lack of
due to a lack of pillars.
His dragons managed to give me enough Light quanta to send a few Crusaders out, Bless and Endow them, and finish him off by a turn before he could kill me. 9 damage a turn however wasn't a joke. 2-0
Game 3: No discord? Not a big deal. Lack of quanta sources?
Definitely a big deal. I frantically tried to summon a Solar Shield up before his dragons could come into play, but his mitosis-dragon orgy began popping out those babies faster than I approved of. At this point, I'm utterly confused about what the Gravity mark was for (at all), but hoped that a late drawn Discord would somewhat suppress the damage. My play
mistake was based on hesitation though; I waited too long for another Crusader/Endow combo rather than attempting to Bless my current one to a heavy hitter (...yeah, I had
4 Blessings in hand. Didn't use them too early for some stupid reason... ugh). I lost by a turn this time, and all because I had a silly worry that n00b held Gravity Pulls or something. 2-1
Game 4: Essentially a repeat of Game 3, but his dragons just demolished me - I made a feeble attempt at using BE to remove some of his pillars once my Entropy quanta rose to a point where I could have both Discord and 'Destroy' in play, but at that point, his dragon damage was doubling and smashed my HP to the ground. I hardly got him below half-HP I think. 2-2
Game 5: I thought I was over until n00b's hand told him otherwise; a 3 pillar draw gave him a huge vulnerability to my upcoming Discord (thankfully I topdecked one in time), and with a well endowed Crusader holding a duplicate sword in hand, the quanta scrambling was far too much to let him do any damage. It couldn't get any more stressful at this point. 3-2
Sorry for the late update. School kinda interrupts things - that being said... Chimera is a very interesting choice. >.>
