NOTES:
inspired by venom and carnage (and spiderman to a lesser extent) from marvel, the symbiote combines with its host to grant improved strength, at a cost of self control (losing active abilities).

originally was going to be a darkness card, but darkness already has liquid shadow which has the buff with a downside paradigm. so i made it a creature rather than a spell, giving it a one turn vulnerability, but also opens it up to mitosis (or fractal), which is why it has a slightly increased cost, but its still in line with sop (mass buff with a downside), sow (single buff with a situational bonus), and blessing (atk|hp buff without a downside).  its also worth noting that the use of the symbiote's ability is a net of +3 damage (assuming it is used on your own creatures), not +4, as the symbiote itself has 1 atk.  using the symbiotes ability removes it from play, but does not trigger death effects. (underlined because i can see the question popping up)

some other potential uses- loboing the opp's creatures but buffing their atk, but could work well with antimatter.

I think the base cost should be lowered, and the cost for the ability should be upped to 1 or 2.

lowering the card cost would increase its synergy with fractal, increasing the cost of activating the ability is a minimal adjustment, increasing the overall cost by 1 would make it even less potent than the equivalent buffs.  if anything, the overall cost would likely need to be lower to compensate for its delay and exposure to cc, in order to make it a worthwhile card in a deck.

So, Symbiotic is a no cost ability?  If so, it should read "0: Symbiotic", no?

Huh, I could've sworn that they had 0 ability costs on the cards.  Nevermind then, I kind of assumed it was in that format from how it appears on the field.
