Prizes

1st	7,000 electrum + Nymph/Mark + Trophy (Forum Icon)
2nd	5,000 electrum + Nymph/Mark
3rd	4,000 electrum
4th	3,000 electrum
5th	2,000 electrum
6th	1,000 electrum

Players who lose their quarterfinal (Top 8) matches will compete for the 5th and 6th place prizes in a mini-tournament. Prize-eligible players (namely, ones in the top 8) who leave the tournament without notifying the Tournament Organizer of their intent are considered to have forfeited their match, and also their prize.

• Each player must choose one creature outside of the given list, which cannot be changed throughout the tournament. If you decide to include the selected creature in your deck, you must include six copies of its element's corresponding "pet" creature.
• All shields that give damage reduction are banned, Dimensional Shield and Dissipation Field are banned as well.
• Drain Life, Ice Bolt, Fire Bolt, Poison, Unstable Gas, Nymph's Tears, Nymph Queen, Owl's Eye, Arsenic, Discord, Lobotomizer, Trident, Eternity, Rain of Fire, Dessication, Thunderstorm, Plague, Flying Weapon, Pandemonium, and their upgraded variants are banned.

A:

[22:24:05] you can make a deck with only pets as creatures, OR a deck with your selected creature AND 6 of correspinding pet creatures (and some other pet creatures too if you want)

I can't use any other nonpet creature other than antlion, correct?
So, can I change what pet I use between matches, or must I always use gemfinders? If so, must I always use 6?

A: Part 1: Correct, you can have any number of antlions as long as you have 6 gemfinders.
Part 2: Correct.
Part 3: You can use any number of any pets at any time of the tournament if you are not using antlion.

Q:

Am I also allowed to use other pets if I do use antlion?

A: Yes. As long as you include 6 gnome riders/gemfinders.

Q: Do we have to put our chosen creature anywhere?
A: Yep. Change your chat nickname to include both your forum name and selected creature.

let me get this straight if i pick say a time creature i have to use that creature throughout the tourney as well as 6 deja vus. Everything else can be any unbanned card or only spells and permanents.

I'd love to play in this one, but it's too early for me; I probably won't be home from work in time to play.  I hate missing the upped ones... why are they always at ugly times for me? :p  Good luck to everyone who participates!
