Reduce the number of functional enemy creatures to 7 with Flooding, then pwn 6 of them with a pair of Octopi.  Fractal the Octopi early to deal with enemy creature control (EEs and Eternities do suck), then Fractal an Ice Dragon toward the end for a massive killing wave of dragony death.

Pwns lvl 5 pretty good, even won against Water/Time and against a Life/Entropy that used Thorn Shield to take down 9 different Octopi.   It's the only no-healing lvl 5 deck I've played that consistently wins (outside of Mono-Aether with it's stacked Dim Shields, of course).  No Masteries ever, but who cares?  It's unupgraded and fun.

you don't need that much flooding and ice shield if you have your Octopus upgraded
these 3 cards may sometimes duplicate their function
SoG is a must as creatures attacked you until you freeze them

Well, it's supposed to be 100% UNUPGRADED. SoG is an upgraded card.

As a fan of Water, Aether, and Ice, I love this deck.

I can't really find a way to improve it; it really is very well made. Personally, I'd just take out a Flooding and slap down another Aether Pillar because decks with +7 creatures aren't too common and 2 Floodings are still plenty to get one out early.

But that's just personal preference. Great deck.

Nice deck, though although it's 100% unupgraded, you still need 3 squid. Still, I think it's good.

Maybe you could replace a flooding with that, they would be good to Fractal.

i must say.. just tried this deck out and lost 8/10 games.. and i find it rather crap for my taste without any healing whatsoever its a slow death..

if ur lucky u will get ur squids early but then u will face an opponent with either shit loads of creatures and u have to spend all ur quanta so fractal squids is just staaling ur own death.. without being able to throw down ur dragons bcuz ur low on quanta and dunno really if flood is that good if u manage to live longe enough for opponent to get the upper or lower bars of creatures they still do damage when they cast em :(

anyway good effort at least i thought it should have been better but ill try a couple of more games out.
