Infusion of Fire: Gain 1 :fire this turn, and one mark quanta every turn thereafter.

Rush of Fire: Gain 1  :fire when played, and one mark quanta every turn thereafter.

I really like the idea of limited quanta generation, but so far Nova seems to be the only way to do that.  Name is flexible for change.  I'm pretty sure it's balanced and hasn't been done before, but perhaps I am wrong.  Currently it would be useful for Lycans, UGs or Graboids and would also help trios or quartets that only need to use a few of a specific quanta or need to have the mark be one type of quanta for pendulums to work well.

Alternatively:

Infusion of Fire: Gain 1 :fire this turn.  This card gains: Sacrifice, create a pillar of your mark.

Rush of Fire: Gain 1 :fire when played.  This card gains: Sacrifice, create a pillar of your mark.

It would work like a normal permanent, where the sacrifice ability is unusable until the turn after the card is played.

Looking back over this, it could be used as just another way to split pillars.  Are there any suggestions for avoiding that?

The first effect sounds similar to what Crowned Pillars [pre-rework] used to do before I reworked them.

Both seem like good cards to help quantum fix a deck - however I would go with the second effect because it's more flexible and allows you to work with trios better since you can target any pillar, as opposed to checking your mark only.
