ART: hawanja http://freakmutantmonster.blogspot.com/2009/10/mongolian-death-worm.html IDEA: moomoose NOTES: a soft cc counter, and new creature spawn mechanism.  The mechanic is designed after the ability of worms to form separate organisms after being cut apart.  Once "generation" has been activated, it cannot be removed.  It can be lobotomized or have it's skill replaced by another, when applicable, prior to activation. damage that results in the death of the worm will not spawn any worms, similar to voodoo doll.  i added in the 'from the opponent' balancing mechanism to prevent players from poking their own worms with a stick to make them produce new worms. Not much gravity life synergy, which makes this all the more interesting. I notice that the lesser worm's stats and cost are copied from skeleton and horned frog respectively. I don't see this being used much outside of an emp. bond stalling deck though. Was that mainly what you planned for it?

actually my first thought was using it in conjunction with gravity pull.  while it doesnt produce the same defensive boost as amigo (though it could be buffed if you found a way to get it more HP), it will be the offensive tint for the spell.  also, adrenaline works well with the spawned worms.

I second what he said, my first though was gpull ftw.  Also, would fit great in adrenaguards, which usually carry gpull anyway.

But unfortunately, this is in the same element.  There are still reasons to use unupped guards (monogravity, gpull attackers (cuz colossal dragon is so slow) with this, there would be zero reason to use guards unless you wanted 12 4 attack attackers.

several elements have virtually unused cards that are relics of initial creation, i largely discount them when planning new cards.  they mostly need buffs, theres no way around it.  or, alternative means of implementing those cards, such as the graviton carrier i made a whiles back, which would put them more or less on par with fireflies.

how does this synergize with chimera? with BB?

both should be self evident, nothing i can see would indicate something warranting an exception.

using chimera would combine all of the worms in play, as usual

BB would be used on colossal worms to allow more worms to come into play, especially in conjunction with gravity pull.

so if I BB a Worm, I get lots of Worms, then I chimera it for a giant critter with momentum?
Also, BB has good synergy because of adrenaline.

not too hard, you already have Grav Life, Grav synergizes with Earth, so it could be very viable. A few gem finders, a couple pendulums, be pretty decent, Worm, adrenaline, basilisk blood, pulvy, empathic bond. Chimera, stone skin, heal, maybe an otygh or two.
