Players open packs and use the cards they received to battle and gain to buy more packs!

1. HOW TO SIGN UP?
Anyone with a forum and a chat account can sign up for this event. Start by reading the rules very carefully. Then sign up by posting on a separate sign up topic. If you cannot find a sign up topic, or if it is locked, this event is not currently active, and you will have to wait for it to restart.

There is no maximum amount of participants in this event.

2. GETTING READY
Each player starts by selecting 4 different Starter Packs.

There is one starter pack for each element. Each starter pack contains 3 commons, 2 uncommons, 4 pillars, and 1 pendulum of the chosen element.

3. GAME PLAY
Every round, you may battle an NPC to gain some . After the first round, you are also matched up against 2 other players at random.

4. DUELS
Duels versus NPCs are best-of-3 and versus other players are best-of-5.

- You can only use the cards you've received from your packs.
- You may switch decks between games.

It's a good idea to either record the matches, or take screenshots as proof, in case something weird, like a desync error, happens. Remember, a player who gets caught cheating, will be permanently banned from all Elements community PvP events, so please play fair.

5. AFTER DUELS
All players must submit their results and decks in the 'Round' thread.

Pillar	30	7 pillars, 3 pendulums, 1 foil
Bronze	30	7 commons, 3 uncommons, 1 foil
Silver	70	5 commons, 4 uncommons, and 1 rare, 1 foil
Gold	150	3 commons, 5 uncommons, 2 rares, 1 foil

Foils can be of any card you can get in the pack. Foil = Upgraded
Gold packs have a chance of obtaining an Ultra Rare.
All packs have a chance of obtaining a Hidden Rare.
Cards from packs will be received at the beginning of the following round.
You may sell any amount of cards you wish, as long as you have at least 30 cards (after buying packs).

There will be a buy/sell thread where you post the cards you wish to sell and which packs you want to buy. This is done at the end of the round.

6. WINNER
The player with the most money at the end of 10 rounds is declared the winner.
The winner is also automatically qualified for the PvP World Championships - 2013.

Plus I don't have half the cards to Irregardless, this sounds like a very cool concept and almost makes it like real life card games. I wish luck to the organizers and players, and I have a question. I notice on the rarity scale you did not include hidden or ultra rares. Are they going to be included at some point?

The other rarities are on there now.

There is no rule for PvP Events needing 30 posts, so you can join if you want. Getting money to buy random cards doesn't take too long.

Um.........Why is turquoise nymph uncommon?

Probably because it's considered the worst nymph (not my opinion), and/or because Aether has four cards better than it. Either way, I think all nymphs should be on the same level...but for balance it might be better.

The Pillar, Bronze, Silver, Gold packs can be bought at the end of Round 1. I assume cards are also sold then as well. Are those packs random or are there Pillar, Bronze, Silver, Gold packs for each element?

Will we choose which card in our pack is the foil card or will it already be chosen? If we pick which is our foil card, I assume we can't change it later, right? Do foils sell for more?

You choose 4 different elements. Only the amount you received in the pack. NOTE: There won't be duplicates in the packs.

Buying packs and selling cards are done at the end of the round. Only the starter packs contain cards of the same element, the other packs are random.

The foil card is random, just like in real life. You can't change foil cards, but they do sell for double.
