  • Demi-Gods are the new AI7.
  • The only way to access Demi-Gods is to win 5 FG matches in a row.
  • After 5 wins you activate the Demi-God button which you can use once before you need another 5 FG wins in a row to unlock it agian.
  • When you fight Demi-Gods you gain temporary FG powers including double draw and 3x mark.
  • Demi-Gods are crazy hard.
  • Their decks consist of 100% foil cards which you have a chance to win when you defeat them.
This gives PvE players a new challenge, and collectors something else to aim for.  For the foil cards there are many ways to do them.  One way is, instead of spins you would win a special marker on each victory over Demi-Gods that can transform one card in your collection to foil.  The foil marker you win belongs to a certain element based on the mark of the Demi-God, so beating the earth one lets you foil an earth card.  Demi-Gods could also be worth a huge increase in score if you win and a big loss in score if you lose.

To make Demi-Gods hard they could have bonuses not available to players.  For example they start the match with a premade setup of towers, a shield, a weapon and some perms/creatures.  You could also create special starting equipment for Demi-Gods that technically wouldn't be in their deck so it wouldn't show up in spins.  Players could never spin these cards because they are purposefully overpowered.

If you time your Oracle spin to do it between the time you finish your 5 FG matches in a row and before you start your Demi-God match, Oracle can predict the next Demi-God for you.

Demeter starts with 4x Life Towers, 4x Gravity Towers, 12x Earth Towers, a Pulverizer and a Gravity Shield.  This is one of the easier Demi-Gods because Demeter is low on the pantheon and as such she doesn't have the really good Earth cards like Graboid & Earthquake, nor does she have any starting creatures or perms other than a weapon, shield and some towers.

Spoiler for Repeatable Quest to Recharge the Oracle:
You can get another Oracle prediction by completing the special spin on Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum Arena in that order and all in a row.  This would be like vanquishing foes in the Arena to gain favour with the Oracle.  You could then do the 5 FG battles to unlock Demi-Gods and the 14 Arena matches (5 Bronze, 4 Silver, 3 Gold, 2 Platinum) to get a prediction and have a chance against Demi-Gods.

Spoiler for New PvP Reward Codes:
New type of code that allows access to Demi-God equipment is rewarded for some Tournaments/Leages/Events, along with the regular Nymph/Mark/Electrum one you get.  Using your Demi-God reward code will temporarily bound a piece of equipment of your choice to your account which disappears after you have played 3 duels, like the Oracle pets.

Maybe a not-so-gigantonormous jump from FGs to Demigods would be better. If this became the Gods (AI8) and a different Demigod set of decks was AI7, it would be a little more approachable. Also, Demeter is a girl.

If you want to get a small taste of the possibilities, try chriskang's trainer. It's not exactly like plastiqe described, but it does have some very interesting setups and rule changes that make them extremely hard.

I don't see a need for them as FG gods are already hard enough. I feel that this idea is a bit far fetched and I don't really see a need for them. However, if they could be a 2 on 1 thing or something like that, it will be awesome. A team defeating a real god! (I personally feel an FG is a demigod already.)

I like the idea of having another level, and I also like some of the aspects of this, such as having to beat 5 FGs in a row to face one. However, I would either make them slightly easier, tell you what DG you'd get after beating 5 FGs instead of only being able to face one after beating 5 FGs consecutively, or both.
I also think they should be made to be a completely different style to FGs, to allow room for new decks facing them.
