Hm. Better. But what's to prevent me from still using the same dragon bomb strategy? (Plenty of high atk dragons stuffed into the deck, precogs and SoBe for fast drawing, and just playing this for instant damage)
The fact that you'd have to run at least 7 Dragons and 4 paradrops to get a win that can easily be disrupted.
To get a win, you need 4 Paradrops means you need at least 7 dragons to run through. Assuming you could put 7 Crimson Dragons in a deck, you'd need 4 Paradrops to accomplish 105 damage uninterrupted. Since you can only run 6 Crimsons your minimal damage is reduced to 101 (+Bone Dragon), you're running the risk of a shield messing things up unless you add an additional dragon (Chimera does not work with this combo, and Phase Shields kill the combo entirely)
Also, if you happen to draw the dragons in the process you're screwed since Paradrop can't play Dragons in your hand. Dragons also cost quite a bit of quanta so you'd be left with 3 options:
1) Make a 30-card deck with SoB + Paradrop + Dragons and hope that you don't accidentally draw a Dragon.
2) Make a larger deck with drawing cards and support to play the dragons incase you accidentally do draw a dragon. This is inevitably going to be somewhat bulky and slower than the 'rushOTK' deck (and will probably end up using Phase Shields or Sundial to cover for its bulk), although it does mean room for PC.
3) Stuff extra dragons in. Sure, this guarantees you'll avoid draw backfiring. On the flipside, it prevents you from drawing pillars as quickly and if you Paradop doesn't select all 6 Crimson Dragons you'll end up only getting 90-ish damage with 4 Paradops, meaning you'll need even more Paradrops and slowing the deck.
As a sidenote : Chimera OTK Blitz is much more stable but invests more quanta. Theoretical Paradrop Dragon deck is less stable but invests more cards in its deck to activate its strategy rather than investing cards to defend itself if it gets messed up while in progress. (Chimera can stall if needed, whereas Paradop with either fire successfully or get beaten by a deck more suited to rushing/stalling. Paradop 'rush' decks will also have a huge problem with DR shields or Healing in general unless they take method 2 and make the deck relatively fat).
